If so, it is used to help lower cholesterol levels. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches.
A lot of it depends on you, Felisia, and how your body reacts to any given medication. What medications do you take for your diabetes? Have you been diagnosed with high cholesterol, or is your doctor just prescribing this as a precaution?
