I have some small Green pills with OC on one side and 40 on the other. what is it? ## This is one of the original formulation Oxycontin tablets, which contains 40mgs of time released Oxycodone. Filling Oxycodone early in Indiana ## Oxycodone is a narcotic, these are controlled substances and, as such, they fall under federal law, not state law. Thus, it is not possible to legally get them filled early. Have you talked to your doctor? If your current dosage isn't handling your pain and you are running out early, then that would the best thing you can do.

It sounds like you probably just had too much Oxycodone, in one sitting. Dizziness; drowsiness; heartburn; lightheadedness; and nausea are side effects associated with Oxycodone. Headaches, or lightheadedness are both indicative of a severe allergic reaction to Oxycodone. There are a large number of other side effects and allergic reactions associated with Oxycodone that may cause you to feel "weird". I am afraid that I can't really provide you with any specific answers, without knowing more details. Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic, so it may be contraindicated with some cardiac conditions and specific interactions, if any, will depend on the heart medications in question. what can i do to prevent throwing up when i take oxycodone? ## Have you consulted your doctor? In some cases, if the vomiting and nausea are severe, you may need an antiemetic medication, or you may need to try a different narcotic for pain relief. If it isn't very severe, you could try making sure that you don't take it on an empty stomach and take it will a full, 8 ounce, glass of water.

I took one 30mg oxygen for the first time in 9 months on Monday and have a drug test on Thursday. I'm 5'9 and way 145 Ibs. I ran out of my pain meds which are Oxycodone 10/325 and found some 30mg Morphine IR. I have been taking the Morpine every 3-4 hours but have taken 6 since 5 this morning. EST. It is now 12:30 I haven't taken one since 8 and am hurting. Is it reasonable to take one now? I know I wont sleep with this pain. ## Yes, for the immediate release Morphine you should be okay to take it (4 1/2 hours after your last dose) - unless the dosage instructions specifically state "do not take more than xxx per 24 hours". Federal government regulations require that all prescription medications have unique imprints on them to enable their identification. If you have something without a marking then it is NOT a legal US prescription drug. Where did you obtain these? ## I was being rxed 10 mg oxy IR, now my dr has given me oxy 15, A 214. My ? is, are they also IR, cause they dont say so on the bottle. They should be able to help you taper off, which can be effective as long as you haven't been abusing it and/or taking extremely high doses. They do have a new effective addiction treatment using Suboxone, an opiate containing the active ingredient Buprenoprhine, which has enabled many people to be completely drug free, but it is only used for those suffering from severe addiction, not for those who have only been taking a medication as prescribed. I suffer from Migranes. During a migrane attact a friend of mine gave me a pill call oxycodone 5mg. I took it to releive the pain. I work at a company that has drug testing. I was wondering how long does this drug stays in your sytem and can it be detected on a drug test. I only took one and it has been over 30 days. What does the "IR" stand for located behind the word Oxycodone and in front of the dosage amount, i.e., 5 mg. When I look up he generic Oxycodone I see that it has acetiminiphine and/or NASIDS-Ibuprophine. I believe the manufacture is Palladone. Is there an Oxycodone made that has nothing in it except Oxycodone. Thanks??? ## The IR stands for immediate release, which means it's meant to release the medication, as soon as you swallow the tablet. While there are some formulations that contain Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen, this one doesn't. This one only contains Oxycodone.
