Need Dr to refill pain med until they can get me into pain management clinic. Live in Oklahoma ## You don't have a current doctor that's referring you to pain management? If you do, then seeing them for it would be your best bet, because they can prescribe something short-term, until you get in for a pain management appointment. The main difficulty is going to be looking for a prescription like this from a new doctor, many tend to see that as drug seeking behavior and won't want to prescribe anything right out of the gate. Does anyone else know a doctor in the area they can suggest?

I'm currently taking 100mg of oxycodoe a day (20mg via percocet and 80mg via oxycontin) as well as 200mg daily of tramadol. I'm taking these as prescribed for chronic pain. My concern is, that after almost 2 years of being on these pain meds with the dosage increasing as my tolerance builds over time, if the Dr's are able to fix what is causing my pain, are there meds that will help ween me off the oxy? I'm terrified of the withdrawls. My second concern is, if they can't fix what is wrong, are there alternative meds for the pain? I can't imagine increasing the doses forever. I was seeing a dr. in No. Va. (supposedly 'the best') for multiple back issues (spinal spondylosis, severe sciatica, degenerative bone disease, etc.) for almost 7 years when I did a urine test and had NOTHING in it. He knew I was taking "med vacations" because he did NOTHING to ensure I was not getting addicted to Percocet and Soma. He said I "must be selling it" and discontinued the physician/patient relationship. the doctor i was going to had his license revoked so does anyone know of a good pain management doctor i could go to that will prescribe me my 30 mg oxycodone ## Do you happen to know why his license was revoked? There has to be some serious reason for that to have occurred and, depending on the reason(s), it could create some problems for you in pursuing treatment. For example, if they felt that the doctor was over prescribing, or prescribing controlled substances inappropriately, you may find yourself needing to undergo a lot of medical reviews from one or more other doctors, before someone will prescribe anything for you. It seems to be a more popular method for those having trouble getting their prescriptions filled. I would also suggest trying an online pharmacy as a last resort. Sites such as PharmacyChecker only list certified (reputable) online pharmacies. Although I am pretty sure that those pharmacies would require a prescription because PharmacyChecker puts them through a rigorous certification process. I live in north flight and have a sever pain problem and anxiety. My doctor is a family doctor and internal medicine for over 21 years. Since this last year my pharmacy of 7 years will not always fill my prescription the one I have the hardest time with is the 60 OXYCODONE HCL 30 MG. I have emailed the governor and told them about the problem. I recommended everyone to do the same. Because I can be public record and put pressure on the to make changes. But he responded by having his head man over all the pharmacys .he said it is up to the pharmacys if they won't to fill the prescription. Why has the price increased from approx 8.00 to 40.00 for generic oxycod/acetamino 10-325 in 2013 ## I guess there's no way to truly find out for certain what the underlying reason is, but perhaps it's due to multiple reasons. 1 being that the number of pain patients has significantly increased and still is increasing rapidly. With more demand, there also has to be a steady supply and therefore more value is being placed on the drug itself. I'm sure there are many other factors that are attributing to the high costs as well. This is just one that stands out to me, especially with all the hype going on in Florida where patients seem to be frantically searching for Oxycodone.

I live in Jacksonville Florida and have been on Oxycodone HC 30 mg for about 4 Years and never had any problem getting them filled. But Know in the last Year it is so hard to get them filled. Can someone tell me a good place to get them filled. And why is such a problem know? ## Several issues arose in Florida and the biggest one that I think has been affecting the supply is that most pharmacies were found to be ignoring the laws that state how much they can order and keep in stock each month. So, prior to the past year when the crackdown occurred by the DEA and FDA, they were basically obtaining an unlimited supply. Things have not changed in FL. with the new year if your not locked into a 1. good doctor, 2. good phar., your not going to get Oxycodone, so please go back up north and just buy a bag of H because Oxycodone is soooo over unless your hooked up good NOW. ## Still can't get the oxy 30's even if you have a good pharmacist. they simply are not getting them in at the chain pharmacy and don't know why...Weird and I have 2 pharmacy's I go to, same story by both pharmacists. I can get the er but not the Oxycodone 30 mg.

I just got my script and the pills closely resemble what ive always gotten. Same color, print, and shape but are larger in size. Should i worry? I have sciatica in both hips 4 herniated disk in my lower back and rhumetoid arthritis has taken over my back I've had a script for 90 oxycodone 30 mg for 2 weeks now and it's the only thing that helps my pain. Please can anyone help it would be much appreciated I have been trying for over three weeks to fill my script I have never had to wait this long I am so much pain mentally and physically I am a single mom with two kids I take care of my self. And unable to fill my medication which just helps me to be abe to function and not be in constant agonizing pain. I am in Kona Hawaii and out of my Lyme Medicine and my pain medicine-doxycline & oxycodone. I take 180 10mg/325 and went to er last sun because i was out and hurting and they gave me 30 pills and told me i had to get into dr to rewrite my script. So i have all my prescriptions from dr in Pa and they wont fill them here unless Hawaii Doctor rewrites them. When i left I sent my computer here along with some medications-so i can not get into dr here they either dont take my insurance or need cash which i do not have!
