I only take 3- 30mg of oxycodone daily as perscribed. However I was given a 14 panel urine drug test and it showed positive for oxycodone AND opiates. Does that mean it looks like I take oxycodone and say herion? I guess Im asking if oxycodone is an opiate then why have a panel for oxycodone by itself too.?

I am having such a hard time filling my oxi 15 script. Shame on all the low lifes getting scripts and selling them and making this a way of life. I need my medicine to be able to get out of bed to actually work. I had been on Oxycodone 30mg since Dec 2012. I was in the hospital this spring for pneumonia and a blood clot in my lungs. And I was in between Dr.s. Last week I went to see another Pain Dr. He did a full history, and then said I can't help you. You are out of my league. so he sent me out without any medicine. I knew I was going to go through withdrawals, but that was the least of my worries.. I was more afraid of the pain then the withdrawal. I live In Meadville Penna. It is closer to Erie. I have a mri and I was in a pain management clinic in brooklyn ny getting a prescription every month for 150 pills of 30 mg of oxycodone however the clinic closed down recently and I wanted to know if anybody would happen to know of any pain management clinics in brooklyn or the bronx that I can go to that will prescribe 150 pills of 30mg oxycodone? ## The main issue that's going to arise here is going to happen if you're calling new clinics and asking if they'll prescribe a specific medication. Oxycodone is yesterday's news, get over it!!!! You all need to stop crying, and face fact's, Roxyies are gone!!! Don't dispare, Zohydro Er just got approved by, Money,Lobbyist, and the DEA. Packs 10 time the punch of Roxies!! My neurologist of 12 year's said I'll have my Rx's for Zohydro next month, and yes, there water soluble. I'm missing 4 disc's in my lower back, and can't get them replaced because of the FDA., won't allow more than one disc's installed in USA., and Busted Cross & Broken Shield of FL. won't pay for having them installed in Europe so I'm must save my pennies up since it will cost me $250,000 to have done in Europe! The reason I'm asking is because there is one that is green with an A over 214, separated by a score line and there is another that is blue with an A over 215 separated by a score line. Can you please double check? I had a 5mg oxycodone pill four hours ago. Is it safe to drink wine now? I will not take the pill again. ## Drinking alcohol while taking a narcotic, such as Oxycodone may cause an aggravation of the side effects, so you may feel more drowsy, dizzy and nauseous than usual. Both can also cause depression of the central nervous system, which could cause lowered blood pressure, lowered heart rate and shallow breathing. Thus, no it is not advisable, even though it's been 4 hours, since it takes awhile longer for the Oxycodone to clear from your body. As a general rule, for your own health and safety, it really is best to avoid mixing alcohol with prescription medications. I have been on 30mg Oxycontin ER 2 per day, every 12 hrs. And Oxycodone 15 mg 3 per day as needed for breakthru pain. I rec'd some news from an ex girl friend that she was diagnosed with HIV. She told me to get tested. I was convinced I had it. I planned on killing myself but was getting some stuff in order and started taking ten of the 15 mg pills per day along with the two 30 mg pills just as a way to feel high and if it killed me so be it although that was not the way I was going to go out. This went on for 7 days until I got my results back...negative...so no HIV. This is Friday and I have a pain mngt appt on Monday...so 2 days. Anyone find that they are nothing compared to the old cdn 80s? ## To my understanding, Oxycodone is always going to be Oxycodone. There might be a small difference in binders and fillers that affect its overall bio-availability, but not much else. Here in the US, the FDA also permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. Not sure if this is a concern where you are, but in either case I'd imagine 'most' legitimate patients would only notice a subtle difference in potency between other brands.

I currently take very high dosages of oxycodone 30mg ir and dilaudid 8mg. I think after the process of elimination that my body isn't tolerating the morphine (dilaudid) and I've been on oxy for years. I was on 80mg oc before the op and couldn't tolerate new op because of binder I wasn't getting the needed meds. I need to go off of the dilaudid going to dr tomorrow, I want to be educated and know if I switch over to only oxycodone is it reasonable to ask for the equivalent of oxy to the dilaudid in addition to the amount of oxy I am currently taking?
