What exactly is a blue round pill with a 5 over top of OXY and is a tablet? I also would like to see a picture of it and where I can find a picture of it ## I'm sorry, but I don't have a picture to post for you due to copyright reasons. However, I can tell you that this is a Canadian tablet that contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, which is a potent narcotic analgesic. This medication has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Is there anything else I can help with?

If you take Lortab 10 mg can you take Percocet 10 -650 are they the same? Cause I went to my doctor today and they changed my meds from Lortab to the Percocet and I'm scared to take them? ## The only way to find out if you can take something without having any problems from it is by trying it. The Percocet is actually a stronger medication, since it contains Oxycodone with the Acetaminophen. Learn more Percocet details here. It is also a narcotic that has the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation and dry mouth. Why did they change your medication? Did they give you a reason?

I found some pills in my son's room they were in a bubble pack and contain capsule shaped white pills in them. They also say Oxycodone Hydrochloride 30mg and are for Sun Pharmaceuticals Industrials ## Are there any markings on them? Sun Pharmaceuticals is an Indian company, but they do have some medications available on the U.S. market via FDA prescription approval under their subsidiary Caraco. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic opiate that has habit forming potential. Have you asked your son about them?

I got caught using 2 drs for pain meds oxy30mg---will I be able to get a new dr to prescribe my meds?? ## I doubt it. The Prescription Monitoring Program in your state has this info in the database, and a doc can see it, so can a pharmacist. And any new doc will want your medical records before prescribing this med and this info is in your medical records. ## So one dumb mistake and you can't ever get the meds you need to survive?? ## If the pain meds your original doc was giving you weren't working, you were suppose to tell that doc so the meds could be adjusted. If you did tell him and the doc didn't adjust the meds, then you could have gone to another doc. But, if you did that you weren't suppose to get pain meds from both of them at the same time. It's just one o...

y husband has a severe curvature of the spine along w/ other conditions relating to that. He has been going to the same pain management dr for almost 20 years and has been on oxycodone or a similar medication for the same period of time. He has had all sorts of MRI's, in office proceedures, etc. He has been to a specialist in Boston who told him he would need to be the full length of his torso in the back and would require a long incision in the front as well, and then the outcome would be doubtful. My husband is close to 70 years old, actively working and in pain most of the time. The surgeon told us that the recovery from the surgery he would need would be challenging even for a young person. He would perform it and told him he didn't know of any doctor that would. We have had...

Dark Green ABG on one side and 80 is oxycodone hci, Light Blue with an M and a square around the M on the other side is single scored with 30 or 15 are also oxycodone HCI. All are time release. The M and square is the sign for Mallinckroft, a generic manufacturer. ## Hello, Just to confirm, I have identified a round green pill with the imprint ABG on one side and 80 on the other as Oxycodone HCL (80 mg). This pill is manufactured by Teva pharmaceuticals. I can also confirm the identification of the light blue Oxycodone HCL (30 mg) with the boxed M (for Mallinckroft pharmacetuicals) on one side and a 30 on the other (above a score line). Does anyone have any questions?

I live in Tacoma, Wa, I work in the medical field and have two lift injuries by lifting very obese patients (I'm 5'2). I had help on L&I but now different things flair it up. I have an unhealed neck hernia that hurts daily. Now my doc skirts the issue and last visit after I lifted something kinda heavy and came in for a bad flair up he said it is something I will have to learn to live with. My daughter is only 20 months and loves to be picked up but even this is painful half the time! I'm also newly diagnosed bipolar so he is blaming my pain symptoms on my brain chemistry which I think is a load of crap. Please help me find someone who has a heart. ## Hi Schwarjm, I'm so sorry to hear about what you're going through. I don't know of any doctors to refer you t...

Is there a Dr in the Boston Area? Part of my problem is 2004 I had Gastric Bypass so my absorption rate is off. I only get half of the meds into my system. Lidocaine patch is useless! I need a REAL LEGIT DR not some pill mill. Please any help is appreciated! Thank You So Much! ## Do you currently have a GP that could refer you somewhere? If so, that would likely be the best way to get in to see someone and get help in your area. Due to the new regulations that were put in place as of April 1st, things have gotten really crazy on the east coast and it's very hard for most to get proper pain treatment. As to a medication that may help and not be impeded by your bypass surgery, there is a patch that uses the narcotic Fentanyl, it is time released slowly over a period of 3 days, so it i...

My daughter called last night and wanted to make sure the pharmacy had given her the right medicine. Has happened in the past. It has 229 on one side and I can't figure out what it is on the other side. ## Is it a white or orangish colored tablet? There is one that has an Asian C on one side and 229 on the other, which contains 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet, it is a narcotic pain reliever. Thus, it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more Percocet details here.

I have CVS Caremark and I get my meds delivered monthly without any issues. I don't understand why so many people have such a hard time with this. You do have to send in your hard copies and there is an overnight option for your mess to be sent back but honestly I have never had an issue. Now I do understand there are allot of people without insurance and I am sorry for that for if it was not for my insurance I would be in the exact same boat. Good luck to all. ## HI, Dman! How are you? It's great of you to post to inform others. However, in some states, controlled substances can no longer be shipped, due to the very high levels of theft and diversion that they had, so they had to put an end to it. It is an option that is still open for many insured people, but those without are...

I have to say that I am blown away about the amount of energy expended upon getting this highly addicitve drug. As a recovered addict I do understand the intense need, but as someone in recovery I see of forum of drug abusers who spend days finding ways to get their drugs. This will probably anger some, but if this helps anyone that's all that matters. No one should ever be on these drugs for an extended period of time, as it actually increases pain sensitivity which propells addiction. I know from experience. I urge you people to try and take a truthful look at your drug use. About a month after I stopped using my pain completely went away. Detox sucked but today I am free. I never thought I would be able to live w out this drug. The truth is when you use for so long you can no lon...

I had took what I thought was an excedrin but ended up being a 5 mg. Oxycodone 325 and I do not use or abuse drugs. I was at a friend's and had a migraine so excedrin is the best choice for that and took 3 out of the bottle. I took two and felt a little tired and weird. So I looked up the tablet that said Watson 749 and found out I just took a drug and not excedrin. I get urine tests at my work, randomly and was wondering when this oxycodone will be out of my system, seeing as I am not prescribed, I could lose my job. I just want it out! How long is it going to take? I'm freaking out can someone answer my question who really knows what their talking about? Can't seem to find the right answer! Can you please help me understand what I took and how long this will take to get ou...

white small pill with W on one side and 25 and 50 on the other ## W 25 50 Small round tablet. The W also has has a square around it ## I believe it is actually an M instead of a W. Have not been able to find a 100% match, but a states that it is a 5 mg Oxycodone (a narcotic pain killer). Does that sound like a possibility to you ? ## YES! That is absolutely correct. My mom has prescription for them due to cancer. 25/50 with M on back. The pill is a pain killer with oxycodone.

I'm trying to manage pain for degenerative stenosis and see that hydrocodone is usually in 5 or 10 mg pills, while oxy, which is supposedly 2+ times stronger, is in 20 , 30 or 40 mg pills. What am I missing here? ## Originally, since it has the Acetaminophen added, the Hydrocodone products, such as Vicodin, Lortab and etc. were meant to be only for short-term use. Just to treat pain that was expected to resolve in a week or two, such as what someone may experience after they've had surgery or been in an accident. Currently, the government is trying to transition it back to being used this way, by restricting how much doctors can prescribe and for how long, though they haven't completely managed to do so, yet. (This would be the same as the original intent for Percocet, which...

Hi everyone, after 4 yrs of pain management with mainly same doc, pharm, and medications, and veru few problems filling my scripts, here I am in the same boat as all of you. I went to my normal monthly appointment 6/26 and went to my normal pharm and got all meds filled with the exception of the oxy 30's and was told to check back next month.... I have diligently checked with alot of other big chains to no avail. Now I found finally last nite after reading thru many blogs about fedxmeds went over to that site and after thoughrolly reserching signed up for their service. Today after making my rounds to all the big chain pharms that my aching body would allow me to visit, I got back on the internet and found a website that I thought everyone should know about. It is ASHP it is for pha...
