Orange Subutex 153 Half Moon (Page 5)

Updated

I use these and they work great. I was on the Roxanna Pharma ones that were circular in size and these orange ones work way better. Wish I had been on them from the start.

Except for one thing...you can take suboxon soon after as long as the drug prior was not something put in your veins. If you have taken pk's and ready to start suboxon...you wont have withdraws. This is by experence...Even my pharmacy told me this. I take subitex now. Just adding this by experence only.

Subutex has no blocker and suboxone does. It's hard to even get Subutex in Louisville KY. I don't take opiates and suboxones cost alot more.

I think it truly comes down to everyone is different and reacts differently to subutex and suboxone, especially when it is right after their last dose of opiates and first dose of suboxone/subutex. I don't think it has anything to with the method of opiate administration, intravenous or not, it has more to do with the quickness (half life) of the particular opiate you are coming off of, how much you take daily, how often you dose that decides how quickly a person can first take a dose of suboxone/subutex. If taken too quickly, the buprenorphine will rip the remaining opiates from your receptors in your brain. Which is why a person goes into withdraw. This is because of the strength of bond the buprenorphine has with the opiate receptors in the brain which is much stronger than any full antagonist opiate.

I have a Suboxone habit and have had one for 5 years on and off. Anyways these are supposedly better than other brands, but I can't tell yet as I just took mine. My Suboxone habit is cheaper than my Newport cigarette habit. Take care u all.

Awesome! I have been reading through all these "mostly" useless posts and I am glad to hear the orange ones work excellent as I was beginning to really hate the white paste on my lips from round white ones ;-)

I have said this before..I was taking anywhere from 15 to 20 pk's A DAY. I took my first prescribed SUBUTEX the evening I took my 19th pk for the day...like within 3 hours apart. This PK I took by the way was my last! Almost 2 years later..anyway, I look my SUBUTEX and did NOT have any withdrawals what so ever. That was 3 hours after my 19 pain pill. SO, NO..not only did my dr tell me this but so did my pharmacist, with SUBUTEX, there are no precipitated withdraws. I and all the people I know that take SUBUTEX have also said, no withdraws what so ever. Suboxone on the other hand will give you the horrible WD's if you are IV'ing a drug then take Suboxone. Anyway...It is what it is...I wish everyone well. I'm 2 years clean. My advise...if you have been lucky enough to get on this awesome medication...don't abuse it! Take it for the right reasons, and stay clean!!!

I'm 10 minutes into oval orange 153 D. Will try to follow up with results. 10+ years on subutex, suboxone, and early clinical evaluations before it hit the market should provide a solid point of reference or control perspective. If you don't know how to navigate pill forums of just google the numbers color and shape to get instant results please do. It could reduce long winded feeds like this to honest reports of functionality. Also it is the first 7 dayers who need immediate answers about if it works; it does but not a get out of jail free card. do it. You didn't hesitate cramming whatever black gooey sludge into ur bloodstream, don't get picky getting clean. And don't do it for longer than u need to, get clean or else you are stuck with a expensive f***ing necessity big pharm drug that does not even give u a spark of good feeling except not getting sick. It is the permanent rug which you sweep it under, and will be there with bells on once you try to go all out clean. Do it for days, weeks if ur bad, but do the work and suffer thru the kick, if I could go back 10 years I would rather kick in jail than be on this s*** forever. There Is No Easy Way Out. Fight for it.

Get sick. Get clean. Ftw. These meds are a life sentence. Don't take them for more than a week. Or you will be able to buy a house with the next 5 years you pay to postpone the sickness you have waiting for you. It's still there. Waiting.

There is so much misinformation that it's scary. If you think that plain BUPRENORPHINE (tex) cannot send you into precipitated withdrawal..please...do a search first and fact check. Gain a little pharmacological insight or prepare to possibly go through some of the worst pain you'll ever know.

Still getting the Roxannes. Been on them for 6 years. Have also tried the Teva (ovals), Hi-Tek(small arrows with 8), and the new 153 peach Actavis 153 ovals. I have found that the coloring in the new AcTavis cause massive migraines(due to the color/flavoring that they use, similar to the film strips and diet soda). I find the Roxanne superior to all other subutex (the Hi-tek) work faster but last 2/3 the time. I hope that is not true about Roxanne but like I said, I still get them every month.

I have explained that four different times on this page and people still want to argue. I mean I have my substance abuse pharmacology book right in front of me...getting people to understand that the buprenorphine in the suboxone and subutex is the blocker and is what causes withdraws when taken early, is like pulling teeth...

First of all, if you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Also, where were you given this information? I've been on the 8mg Roxanne Buprenorphine for about 3 years and only that brand because it's the kind my pharmacy stocks but I have read all of these horror stories about these other brands not doing what their supposed to and that is keep us clean and not sick everyday and it seriously worries me because Subutex saved my life and I haven't even once relapsed since I started them. But back to what I was asking, I read your post a while back so I asked my pharmacy and they denied the claims and said they had heard nothing about it being discontinued and I was speaking to the head pharmacist that told me this. But it wasn't enough proof for me so I called about three more pharmacies and their head pharmacists have me the same response but of course I also love in Texas so the laws could be different compared to where you live. I pray that they don't discontinue them here because they are the only ones I can afford due to zero insurance.
