It is opana 40 mg, its very strong its probably equivalent to 2 oxy 80's. So if you get ahold of one of these DO NOT ABUSE THEM and do not do more than half at once unless you tolerence is extemely high. ## That is correct, it is a 40mg Opana tablet, which contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, a very potent narcotic analgesic. Abusing them is dangerous is many ways, it can cause overdose and possibly be fatal. why is the new opana 40 not strong like the old ones the new opanes40 are about equal to a percets 10 if that. Someone need to look into it i have been taking them for about 5yrs they are not strong at all like the old opana thank ## They changed the formulation, to help prevent abuse, similar to what was done with Oxycontin and, just like then, it seems that the new formulation just doesn't work as well for some people, though in theory, it is supposed to. Have you discussed the problem with your doctor?

taking a 40mg opana at 10:30 then a saliva swab at 1pm close to 3 hours after ingestion will it show positive on a saliva swab test that soon ## It's listed as being detectable in saliva for approximately 5 days, after last dosing, but I can't find anything that lists how soon it is detectable. Have you been taking it as prescribed? If so, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. ## I am prescribed 2 a day and took another in the middle of the night a few times, well like 7 or 8 times then didn't take any for 6 or 7 days and on the day of my Dr. appt took my last one at 10am and did a saliva swab at 1:30 pm. Is it okay to take one half and never do it again.. i am pregnant so it shouldn't give the baby withdrawls right? ## especially the only time i will do it during pregnancy ## Has your doctor advised you to take it? Opana is a narcotic, it contains Oxymorphone and when it comes to anything, such as narcotics and alcohol, it has already been proven that even very little amounts can cause an infant to be born addicted, or cause other complications during pregnancy.

Does anyone know where to get the old 40mg opanas in Poughkeepsie ny or even dutchess county?I heard the new ones are horrible and don't want to b left n pain.please help me! ## I really doubt you are going to have much luck finding them, places were running out and unable to fill prescriptions, until the newly formulated product was out on the market. If the new ones aren't working for you, then you may want to consult your doctor about trying a different medication. Are there any other questions or comments?

Does anyone know I took 3 40mg of opana on tuesday. Will it be out of my silva by Saturday? ## i go to the methadone clinic n they do swab test n they told me that opiates and benizos leave ur system n three to 5 days but from my experience it takes about 3 days 4 at the most for a spit test. but like i say from my experience n its what the clinic told me. ## Yes, the average is about 5 days, but it will vary from person to person, depending on your overall health, metabolism, activity levels and etc. Is there anything else I can help with?

Its a round green pill with a capital E on one side and 20 on the other ## Although I wasn't able to locate a photo of this pill, I did find details confirming that this round green pill is in fact an Opana ER 20mg tablet. I am trying to find out what this is. I foind it in my medicine cabinet mixed with another medication. It is a round dark red pill will E on one side and 30 on the other side. Doesn't relieve pain. ## Opana was recently reformulated to help prevent abuse and, unfortunately, just as when this was done with OxyContin, it has turned out to not be as effective in some people that use it and, in some cases, to cause odd side effects. Have you contacted your doctor? You may need to switch to a different medication.

Do the new ones have same effects? ## In theory they should, but just like when Oxycontin was reformulated, there have been people who have complained and said they do not work as well as they used to. The only thing you can really do is try them and see how well they work for you. I taken maybe 2-5 mg of opana for pass 3 days now. No more no less. Will that be out of my system by friday? How long does it take for the new opana er 10 mg to enter your system for a urine drug test? I have sevier back pain, I am 50 years old and i was perscribed the new opana 10 mg. They are different from the ones I used to take and they didnt work as well as the ones I had before. I am hoping my doctor perscribes me the 20 mg so that I feel less pain for alot longer so I can take fewer pills. I didnt take the 10s on the regular bc they didnt take the pain away. Technically speaking the Opana (active ingredient Oxymorphone) is a significantly stronger pain killer than Percocet if you are taking the same dosage. Since our site is based in the U.S., we must abide by the relevant U.S. laws, which means we can't provide anyone with such information that may enable them to abuse a medication and put their lives in danger. What if anything does anyone know about Exlago instead of the Opana 30mg or Opana 40mg for pain because the new ones do not give the same relief as they did? Wouuld a doctor prescribe these instead and if not what is another med that is the same relief as the Opanas were? ## Exalgo contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone in a time released formulation. Every Pharmacy i called has told me that they dont have any ! ## Most legitimate pharmacies won't tell a "stranger" if they have any narcotics available. It's not always the case that they don't have any in stock, but rather to maintain their code of conduct or professionalism, it's not uncommon for someone to call and get shutdown like that over the phone. I would think that if you walked into a few of those pharmacies with your prescription in hand then you'd likely get a different answer from them. Opana is a highly abused drug, so that would also add to their reluctancy of mentioning its availability over the phone. transition from methadone to opana30. ## Opana contains the potent narcotic Oxymorphone, so in theory, switching from Methadone to it should not cause any problems, as long as your doctor carefully calibrates the dosage. However, Methadone does tend to create a problem, because even when you are switched to another narcotic, it tends to make some people still experience some withdrawal effects, such as rebound pain, stomach pain, chills and vomiting. These types of issues are why many people that use it to try to beat drug addiction actually end up never being really drug free, because they have to take lifelong maintenance doses of the Methadone.
