Nustrate Not Helpful?
UpdatedHello,I started using nustrate in 2014 October and I had no problem and never missed my date. It was a 2 month injection so in February 2015 I found out that I was pregnant and unfortunately it was an ectopic pregnancy. I'm still using the nustrate but I am afraid that the same thing might happen again. what can I use to make certainly sure that I won't fall pregnant? Please help me.

Hello, Zoro! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened.
You may want to speak to your doctor about adding an oral contraceptive as an extra backup. Some women do, especially since the injection can sometimes cause bleeding and spotting that they want to get under control.
The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes and PMS-like symptoms.
Condoms would be another alternative, or a spermicide.
Is there anything else I can help with?
