No Pharmacy Has Oxycodone In Md

I live I'm Frederick md and have been on oxycodone 30 for over 10 years. I went to my dr yesterday and then to my safeway to get script filled, they said they were out and not sure when they would get them in.. I called 37 pharmacys and went to about 12 all over Maryland West Virginia virginia and PA....... And they ALL say the same thing that they are out of stock... How is that possible!!! I have very good insurance I take my meds right and again I have been on this for OVER 10 years !!!! I'm scared I'm in so much pain and I'm going thru with drawl.... This is not fair...please tell me what should I do???

Hello, Angie! How are you?

You most likely didn't get an honest/accurate answer from the 37 that you called. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief, so they will usually just tell you that they don't have it. Going to the pharmacies in person is the only way to get real information.

What you may want to try doing is join to the place that you usually use to get them filled and ask them what they have in stock. Then you may be able to get your doctor to prescribe an alternative for now.

I also live in Frederick and I did the same. I went to about 20 in frederick and they said they did not have the 10mg oxycodone in stock. Not sure what is going or what we are supposed to do. My husband is now going thru withdraw because we cant find his medication anywhere. We did call his pain management dr and they said if we give them 3 names of 3 pharmacies they would find us one that has it???? How are they able to do that and why wouldnt they just have told him from the getgo? Very confused. We of course have not heard from dr but we will be calling first thing this morning

Everything Veron has said is incorrect. I am not sure if she took too much of something. Compile a list of places, and ask your Doctor to call for you. They will find you a place to fill your RX in no time. If they can not, get a new doctor. Other way is to use mail order. You must use your insurance, You must not fill early. You should have your documents on hand, a government issued ID. If it gets really bad, go the ER, that is what they do. If your legit, they will help you. Never believe what you read on here. This is used to control a situation that is out of control. The internet is not intended to tell you where to go, or who to see. It is however a tool w use to monitor and ID bad Pharmacy, Doctors, etc.

I'm prescribed 10mg oxycodone. I use to get these flat, regular looking, not hard as a rock pills. They worked for me also. Now i get these tall looking, hard, lighter colored pink pills.... and they suckkkkk. Strange they are "same mg", supposedly the same strength, but i just feel more aches and pains on this one. Not sure if anyone would know where to get the regular pill, it's flat etc.... but if anyone knows, pleaseeee let me know. I'm in Maryland. If anyone in this area knows the pharmacies around here... any help would be great!
