Supposedly they are prescribing these new generic pieces of s*** because amphet. salts are being abused a lot. I took 30mg of this crap and fell asleep! Made me feel like I had taken vyvanse except the vyvanse makes my mind go a mile a minute and my body unable to move and emotional. I get a horrible headache every time I take this.

I am so glad I read this thread. My insurance covers 80% of my RX cost period. So if I take 30, 10mg adderral per month it's $40, now taking 60 per month it doubled to $80. Asked about a generic and the only they cover is this actavis. Sounds like I better just pay the $80.

They don't work. They are 7.5. Take five if your script is for 30 mil. Just found this out and I've been on these duds for three months, pissed. I thought I was getting depressed or sick but there is a huge difference. I might as well take nothing and insurance paid $231.

chime inn some GENERIC FACTS....

been prescribed for over a year, dose, 30mg IR twice daily (max dose)

tried all generics except Sandoz which the mass amounts research I did, has best results overall generics, that's 2016 feedback.....

since the formula changes, and it's very obvious when they do to daily users, just have to ride the wave, don't be wreckless and fill a prescription period without research of which heeds best results, period if you F up, say bye to ur whole month till refill.....

just happend to me, i flipped s***, I'm still pissed and I'm already back on working addies...aurobindo orange to pink cor to teva footballs.....

I stuck with what worked, and this was in the last 11 months, pink cor pharma has had a good turn around the last 11 or so months, there's not much feedback to confirm this, and ive even for myself learned the hard way, got a refill last month. It wasn't cor pink. I look, there teva footballs. I didn't panic, was kinda pumped to try, as prior research stated teva footballs were #1 best pref generic PERIOD. uhhh, found out myself and further research, teva was on top effectiveness for a long time and cor pink sucked bad for a long time, well.....

now it's proven fact, cor pink & teva footballs are now reversed strength/effectiveness....2016....all I know is much feedback supported the exact opinion after taking them...

.....night and day difference, I was boiling pissed. I mean pisssed off, cuz u know those extra smart pharmacy techs know it all, how "generics work all the same" LOL! 55 minutes later, I'm kicked out of CVS and cops called.

(I felt so insulted) you're not gunna tell me when i've actually taken both an ur just stuck up ur own azz and book smart!!!

pink vs footballs are not even close to the same effects.... I'd bet my life on it, and anybody that knows real effective Adderall, then u fill teva trash footballs one 30 IR start yawning with cold chills, take a second 30 IR to be sure you're not placebo effecting.

so 60 mg Adderall making me yawn tired as hell, almost sick feeling, with cold chills, an I'm supposed to accept feeling this way for another 29 days cuz your sorry I feel this way? bro....haha wahh anyways.....

ANYbody thinking generic is all the same don't screw yourself by believing doctors or pharm techs...

a lot backs up what I'm saying, look it up. teva used be the best, now cor is, simple as that...actually sandoz is...which I haven't tried as it's very hard to come by, but has been most consistent in TONS of research for pref...

Choice of cor pink or teva football (october 2016) if u choose teva your screwed, no question.

and I always dose with 3,000 mg Antacid Calcium Supplement (10mins prior to dose) absorption rate is higher then normal, but teva is so ineffective it's absorbing worthless chems only.

I have had to make a bunch of sacrifices to be able to afford to keep my son on the brand name. It has been a miracle & EVERY generic we've tried has been an absolute joke. They either work great for like 4 hours and wear off at best, or they don't work at all & have horrible side effects at worst. If brand name is totally not an option, have you tried getting the generic you like from Canada?

Omg finally an adderall that doesn't give me blue balls. The blue balls side effect is brutal. Nothing with these.

You have to check he insides too. A place I dealt with once would take the amphetamine beads out and replace it with other medicine or a placebo. Constantly check the consistency of the product because everyone wants piece of the billion dollar business.

That's odd. I just got the new all orange 30 capsule and I thought it was the brand name because it seemed so much better than the old generic. I looked ip the image and its generic. How can the results be so different.

I got Sandoz this month and they work great. So for me, I stick to Teva or Sandoz - both were at Walgreens.

I've been on Adderall XR since 2004. Brand is best I don't care what any pharmacist says!! In 2009 when generics came out I thought my med was no longer working. I told my Dr and she kept increasing my dosage and I felt worse!! Finally realized I was taking something else all together with the generic. My Dr put me on instant release and found Sandoz the closest to the real thing. Switched Drs to a psychiatrist because I moved and she refused to prescribe IR. Back to XR and trial and error. Found that Teva XR and global worked best. One month I got Actavis and this was after taking a 6 month break from adderall and it felt like I took a sleeping pill!!! And my motivation was negative 6,000!!!! I took 3 20mg pills and I took a nap. The stuff was total crap!!! It felt like the Straterra I took for a couple weeks. Totally not myself and drugged and depressed. The next month I told the pharmacist to never give me that garbage again and he said I was the only complainer!! He ordered the Teva and it was so much better.

I told my neighbor lady who's 6 yr old granddaughter took adderall XR to not ever take the Actavis and we talked and she said omg no wonder my Granddaughter has been so tired and moody. They took her off and back to the Teva and she was fine. I felt so bad thinking young children take what they're given and can't advocate for themselves. And pharmacists are NO help either selling the idea generics are all the same and all the same as brand!!! How many are suffering with that garbage? How many have quit adderall thinking it didn't work?? The brand stuff changed my life!!! I was 32 when I was diagnosed. So to have a drug you depend on to help you be functional suddenly stop working after 10-11 years was horrible!!! Today I was looking up generic Sandoz adderall XR because I saw the pharmacy filled my script with that. Dreading finding it may be junk like Actavis. I have not found much on Sandoz XR. I took my dose and am not sure if it's working.

I'm prescribed 2 x 30mg Xr. This past year I've been on either 20 or 30mg, different generics, mostly corpharm. It worked. 30 mg ir caused a tolerance buildup. The only Xr in Chattanooga TN I could find is Actavis. Paid $305.00 for 60 capsules. 3 days, no adverse effects. Then, wham! Cold fingers, depression, irritability, falling asleep, no desire to complete anything. So, the irritability and depression alone, I can't tolerate. Monday, I'm going to request and see if my Dr. can prescribe methylphenidate and Adderall. Also, I will contact the FDA and pray others report their unacceptable side effects of this poison!

I always took Teva since starting Adderall & found it to work very well the best! Having been a Ritalin test case study for Children's Hospital at 10yrs old but it stopped working after high school so I went to Adderall. I take the time release & all I've been able to get is the R 3061 which is a hit or miss. It doesn't work like the Teva brand where you feel normal. This R 3061 makes you fall sleep or has you bouncing off the walls there is not to much in the way of middle ground!!! I had to go on & amphetamines during the time when Adderall was not available. It caused me to hyperfocus on anything around me it did not help, I find this to be quite similar. But taking nothing at all, I slept for two weeks I know I've tried it!!! I was taking the R 3061 for months then they got a shipment of the Teva & it was like I felt & had become completely normal again? I have no choice being on an island where all the pharmacies receive their medication from the same supplier. Don't know if I'm helping but as I said I was a test study for Ritalin at 10yrs old I'm now 41. I've been on these medications since I was 10yrs old & not by my choice unfortunately!!! (Just because I was faster than a speeding teacher, & I could leap over couches in a single bound!!!) What they've done sucks the R 3061 is actually made by the original owner who sold the patent to Teva who bought Barr which was the other working medication. A lot of people believe that the fact that the company who owned the patent makings the R 3061 product is just trying to get you to switch to their new product but nobody wants to take it most people are finding it not to work!!! So what are we supposed to do now, that is the question???

I found that the Sandoz generic does not work as well as the Teva generic and not even close to the brand. I know the company who produces the brand also makes the generic Sandoz. They are not the same. They must be using lesser quality ingredients or skipping out on something all together.
Needless to say not a good month for me. No motivation. No normal concentration. Hyper focus is not what I need!! I can do that on my own without medication thank you very much. And it's not on EVERYTHING. Just what I'm interested in.

Thank you for your input.
I have a better understanding of what the difference is between the two generic medications. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE

I am a 36 year old woman. I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2009, (although looking back I don't know how anyone missed the signs) I have taken Adderall since 2009 same dose with no problems. Until somewhere in 2014, I started getting the blue pill. Didn't think much of it except for the money I was saving. But at some point, I noticed I was losing my focus and becoming more impulsive. A couple of times I took two doses in a day because I thought I had forgotten it. Eventually I was taking more and more and achieving less and less. In hindsight, I should have talked with my Dr. about it, but I was afraid he would stop my prescription. At this point I was physically addicted. By 2016, I was going through my 60 EA 20mg pills and 30 EA 25 mg pills in a matter of a couple of weeks. There were days I easily took 150- 200 mg a day. I was still able to fall asleep fine, and I managed to gain 40 lbs in 2 years. The summer of 2016, I started researching, and realized most of this began when I started taking the Actavis brand. I talked to my Dr, and we began trying other meds. I have been on focalin, Vyvanse, and a nonstimulant. My body has recovered from the physical withdrawal of the Actavis Junk. I have had 2 months back on Adderall. The first being a different generic, right away that fog was gone and I could think clearly. The second month, I started with Actavis, just as an experiment. Back to the fog, and forgetfulness (what other people view as carelessness). After a week I took the rest back and told the pharmacy my experience. They switched the rest out. There is a whole lot more to my story, I just wonder if I'm alone? Out of concern I started going to rehab because of the addiction side of this and the problems it caused. Has anyone else had anything like this?

responding to 36 yo woman. pretty much the exact same story with me, I get 60 a day, I use them up in two weeks, then withdraw for 2 weeks. can take 120 a day no problem , the only way it works for me. pretty much a useless drug anymore, I get the generic all orange 30 er pill. don't know who its made by.

I feel better, knowing others have noticed. I was afraid the part of me that had the addiction was just making up excuses. On your next refill, I would ask the pharmacy which brand you have gotten in the past and if they have any different brands. If not, try Walgreens or CVS. Most pharmacies should be able to order a different brand. And talk with your doctor. I think while I was trying different stimulants, it sort of helped to wean me off, so the withdrawal wasn't so bad. It's so frustrating to know how good life can be with meds, but not being able to get it back. At times it makes me wish I didn't know how good it could be.

I totally agree. They are terrible. I switched pharmacies. I too, just wanted to sleep. My mind was more scattered than with no meds. HATE THEM!!

I have tolerated both fine the blue Activis is a different story. I can't concentrate very "speedy" and no ability to focus on anything longer than a few minutes I don't know what the difference is but teva/Barr and activis calm me and stay organized and awake without feeling like I'm on something

No placebos are not all the same. In school -years ago- learned that generics can be 80-120% the effectiveness of brand. So generic to generic they could be equal or from -40 % to +40 % less/more effective. That's a huge difference. Don't know if same standard applies today but years ago that's what we were told.
