My Doctor Says There Is No Test For Suboxone
Updatedwell that is just simply not true. Most places will not test for subs because it has to be sent away for a special test because it is only a partial antagonist and does not show up on a regular opiate testing

Such a test wouldn't actually look for Suboxone, since it is a compound medication that contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, so technically your doctor is correct.
To detect whether or not someone is taking it, a special test has to be used that checks for the presence of Buprenorphine and it's metabolites.
