Has anyone else had a slightly tingling tongue from taking Fexeril? I just cut my 10mg in half for my first dose. ## Can you be more specific as to what you mean by tingling? The FDA lists the typical side effects for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Are you on any other medications? ## I wanted to take half a pill of 10mg flexaril (cyclobenzaprine)for my back pain. 10mg makes me to tired the next day sometimes. But it made my tongue numb and a little of my lip numb. I guess I should have cut it in half and then take it never expected this. I have been taking this medicine on and off for years. Never had any bad side effects. It just makes me sleepy. But it just feels so strange to feel numbness in my mouth and no mayo clinic write up or ...

A round white pill. One side has a U at the top and underneath it is the number 158. The other side has a line separating the pill in half. ## Hello, Jane! How are you? The closest I can find to this tablet is one manufactured by Unichem Pharmaceuticals with the marking U 168, so can you please double check the markings and post back? They list it as containing 2mgs of Tizanidine, the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. ## In one of my prescriptions, there were almost 20 of the U 158 pills mistakenly added. The U is on top and there is a line underneath it, then the numbers 158. I can’t find anything about it online and all I can find is U 168, which is not what my prescription was supposed to be either. Does anyone ...

What is this pill for? It's white and oval with the letters RlSO on one side and a cross on the back. ## Hi, Shortie! How are you? The markings on these are a bit hard to read, they tend to not imprint very well, but what I believe you're seeing is actually meant to be R180 and the tablet contains 4mgs of Tizanidine, which is a muscle relaxant, it's a generic for Zanaflex. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache. Can you please double check the people and see if that S is perhaps actually an 8? Thanks! ## What kind of a pill is riso with a cross on back of pill ## Yes it’s an "8": Rl80

I have been taken off soma by my pain doc in Sarasota. Does anyone know a pain doc in Sarasota, Bradenton, St Petersburg or Tampa Florida who still writes them? Skelaxin makes me have nausea & vomiting, on flexeril I fell asleep driving and nearly crashed, baclofen did the same with sleepiness. Please help, I'm so uncomfortable. I was on soma for 17 years. My primary will write them, but won't write my pain meds so I'm stuck. ## Have you asked your primary care doctor about still prescribing them for you, while you receive pain medications elsewhere? Unless you have a pain management contract that forbids it, or are trying to double up on controlled substances, you can receive medications from more than one doctor, at a time. The FDA warns that Soma is commonly abused, a...

Are u sick of looking for answers and never find them? I once was too. I was a pharmaceutical chemist then I got a job testing the samples provided for drug testing, this of course after I cleaned up my life. But I have been in you're shoes. Straight up tizanidine will not even be tested for unless the testing party has a reason, such as if you're on probation for tizanadine abuse or go to a pain clinic. Every drug has a cutoff for pass/fail and each person metabolizes differently. Tizanadine is only looked at in about 1% of the samples I test, typically in parole and pain managment cases. If you are still concerned it is a proven fact that flushing your body with water for 24 hours will skew the results and increase you're chances of passing exponentially. Even when I test ...

I GET DRUG TESTED EVERY 2 WEEKS AND I HURT MY BACK AND MY AUNT GAVE ME A SOMA AND I HAVE A 12 PANEL DRUG SCREEN URINE TEST AND I WANNA MAKE SURE I'M NOT GONNA FAIL MY DRUG TEST. ## Would like to know the answer to this one myself... ## I have been taking soma for years. I've been on parole, probation, in rehabs & have never had anybody say anything about soma in my system. Even when I have taken them that day or day before... BUT I have never had or even heard of a 12 panels screen. What all do they test for? I don't believe soma is a narcotic. So I would believe ur gonna be ok. Just flush ur system as much as possible between now & test day. Drink lots of water, tea, lemonade, etc as u can everyday till u test. Good luck. ## YES THERE IS A SUCH THING AS A 10 PANEL D...

found a pill that is quite large, oblong, blue and light blue with the words Liferpal MD on both top and bottom portion of capsule. ## This is Carisoprodol, brand name Soma, it is a muscle relaxer. It's very habit forming and apparently you aren't supposed to take it consistently for more than 2-3 weeks. ## how many mg of soma are in the blue capsules? (from mexico) ## Liferpal is a company and makes many Blue pills. Without a pill # it would impossible to be identified. Nothing i have read indicates this is Soma ## Having gone through a listing of Liferpal's products, I have to agree with Eddy, while they do make several medications, there are no muscle relaxants listed among their product line, neither Soma/Carisoprodol, nor any others. They have various antibiotics, pain ...

I had neck surgery two weeks ago and I may have accidentally doubled up on my medication. It is oxycodone/apap (percocet) 5-325 rx'd 1 to 2 every 4 to 6 hours, plus methocarbamol (robaxin) 750 rx'd 1 every eight hours. I may have taken 2 percocets and 1 robaxin at 7:30; then took the same dosage again accidentally at 7:45. For the life of me I can't remember if I had just thought about taking them at 7:30 when I went to take a shower and changed or if I actually did.. and then redosed myself after my shower.. I have not had any all day as I am trying to only take them when absolutely needed. But I had a pretty active day and was hurting so I was taking them to help me sleep.. Just a wee bit concerned here. I am 5'7 and about 215lbs. Thank you for any advice whether it is...

Hi, I was today prescribed Ardosons for acute pain and inflammatory process of the joint on my middle right finger. I made it clear to the physician that I have blood high pressure and that I was subject to a cateterism on 2006 due to ischemic peripheral vessels. He recommended 1 capsule for four days (with meals) only, however I found that this drug is not indicated for people with blood high pressure and persons with a cardiac history. Could you please advise if I should have these pills or not? I would deeply appreaciate your advice. Best regards. ## I'm not sure what the FDA or American equivalent is of Ardosons. It seems this is typically a South American prescribed medication. It's also known as Artridol. I found that Ardosons contains: Indomethacin (25mg): a nonsteroidal ...

Is Methocarbam and Methocarbamol the same thing 500mg? Or are they different? ## Likely the same thing considering the 500 mg dose. "Methocarbam" seems like it would be an abbreviation on the prescription bottle. Can you share what the tablets look like (markings, color, shape) or the NDC # on the bottle? ## The names are the same.

Muscle relaxant taken twice daily want to come off medication safely without complications or pain ## Then you will need to speak to your doctor. Anytime you have been on a medication for a prolonged period, your body becomes dependent on it and you will experience some withdrawal effects if you stop taking it abruptly. When it is a pain medication, you will also, more than likely, experience rebound pain as your body readjusts to not having this medication anymore. ## How long does citra 100mg or generic name orphenadrine 100 mg take to metabolize? ## What color is citra 100?

How much is too much? I've been realizing I'm taking higher and higher doses. I need help. How much is considered an overdose? ## I know what you mean, but the term overdose itself is explanatory. Anytime you take more of the prescribed dose is an overdose and you risk adverse reactions. It's a gamble each time. I know it's easier said than done, but if you need an adjustment, it's best to talk to your physician. I know that sounds very stuck up and not understanding but I do. I speak from experience that running out early is far worse than needing that adjustment to a higher dose. I wish they could adjust mine but because I'm on the max amount of opioids allowed they won't let me. They said pick your handicap - is it anxiety or is it pain? ## Robaxin is a mu...

I am a case manager and I have a young quadraplegic with a g-tube that needs Baclofen suspension. does anyone know where I might be able to get this for him? ## Actually, your pharmacy or the small pharmacies that do compounds should be able to mix it up. Do you have any hospitals in your area that has outpatient pharmacies? This is your best bet. If your pharmacist is leary to do it have him go to www.sickkids.ca/pharmacy as this website gives him step by step instructions on how to mix the compounds. ## That is correct, if a regular pharmacy doesn't carry it in a suspension form, any compounding pharmacy should be able to fill the prescription for you. I've been trying to figure out what type of pill these are. I was told they are Soma from Mexico but can't find anything to back it up. It's a round white pill with a fancy capital R on one side and nothing on the other side. Please help. ## Did you ever figure this out? I have this same pill. Can’t find anything on it ## I've probably identified your "R" and it could be Xanax, according to a Nigerian website. However, pills with no # on it means they are either not from the U.S., or possibly counterfeit. I'm currently taking the R 131 1 mg from Activas/Teva. The ones you have sound fake as they are embossed with the company logo with no NDA #? I'd toss it.
