So yesterday I FINALLY RECEIVED my prescription of Pain-O-Soma in the blister packs that are from (Supposedly) HAB Pharmaceuticals & they ARE / WERE AWFUL!!!! I took 3 & #1) they DID NOT FEEL LIKE ANY BRAND OF SOMA THAT'S MADE HERE IN THE GOOD OLD UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA & #2) I think that they may have even given me MORE // WORSE MUSCLE SPASMS!!!! I can't believe that I f***in wasted close to $200.00 on these things & then had to wait for over 3 weeks to receive them... They came from India... So now I've got over 120 of these damn things, they're in the blister packs & they're a plain white pill with no numbers or anything on them except for a strait line on one side of the pill... I was prescribed Tizanidine 4 mg and took 30 within a 4 week span. How long would this amount take to get out of my body? Any info appreciated! ## Hello, Beezer! How are you? The FDA classifies Tizanidine as a muscle relaxant, so there is no reason to worry about being on it. It is not addictive or habit forming. I have to get drug tested at my methadone clinic, and I was wondering if soma will show up on my urinalysis? I've heard that after metabolizing it can appear as a benzo which would not be good for me as I haven't taken any in over a year. I recently had my monthly prescription for Soma filled at my local Walmart pharmacy and for the past several months had been receiving the Watson brand from them, which work really well for my muscle pain and spasms, but last week when I picked up my prescription they were a different brand manufactured by Rising Pharmaceuticals. I normally take 2 in the morning and spread out the other 2, one for the afternoon and then one before bed, but this new brand sucks and hasn't given me ANY relief of my muscle pain and spasms! I've never had a generic brand just not work at all for me, but this brand is just terrible! Even taking 3 at a time still doesn't do anything to help!!! I've been taking soma / carisoprodol off and on for 22 years. When I first took it, I was told to take two 350 mg at bedtime, and it was too much and I nicknamed it Coma! Later I learned that when I first start taking soma after not taking it for a long time to only take 1/4 tab, or even a bit less. Later I can take more as needed, but starting out 1/4 or even 1/8th helps when I haven't take it for a very long time. My doctor (gynecologist) has prescribed me with 3 mobizox tablets for pain in my ribs... However, after taking one mobizox tablet I later came to know that the mobizox tablet is not safe during pregnancy and that there will be unwanted side effects on fetal development or new born babies. Looking for a doctor who Prescribes soma in DFW area, preferably Garland or Plano or Richardson. I’ve been on soma for eight years through my PCP but unfortunately the practice he belongs to has closed down. I went to pain management doctor today and the charges are $500 a visit and does not prescribe some. Trying to ween myself off Baclofen and noticed persistent incontinence is starting to subside. Anyone else experience this? ## I didn’t put the two together until I switched spasm meds and got the first time in years I didn’t have any issues. I have been in pain management for years, lost my doctor along with other patients, and primary won't fill or says she can't and messes up my progress to get in new pain management in time. Now I'm losing Soma, was 3 times a day, now I have 7 tabs left. Was on 45 mg of morphine 3 times, oxycodone 15s and xanax 5 mg 3 times a day. Which she said she can not write for. Why, if she knew or thought this pain clinic was prescribing more than standard, did she never say a word until i had to go to her in desperation for this? i have chronic back pain however try not to take medication unless i have to. i have left over flexeril 5mg from a prescription written in dec. 2009 and expires 2010. is it safe to take for muscles spasms or should i toss it. i like to keep some in my cabinet because the few times my back gets really bad i am unable to get out of bed. ## Flexeril contains the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine, which is a muscle relaxant and you should contact your doctor for a new prescription, because it does lose efficacy past the expiration date, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. Received white round unscored pills from Mexico w logo on one side & blank on the other side. ## Collins farma...could be mexican Soma. Or another product from this company. ## A drug manufacturer called Collins Farmacéuticos (Pharmaceuticals) out of Mexico is reportedly known for producing unscored white tablets with a bird logo. Unfortunately, they do not list any specific details on their product page that point to a particular medication. However, you can visit their website (at collins.mx) to contact them directly regarding the tablet as a last resort. I only want to know the difference between Pain-O-Soma and Prosoma. ## If you ONLY want to know the difference between these two drugs, you would need to speak to another Felon that has ordered controlled medicine from overseas.
