Looking for a doctor in upstate NY (Syracuse & surrounding) that can prescribe methadone in a private setting I am tired of the clinic and liquid dosage. wound up there because of pregnancy 4 & 1/2 yrs ago (on opiates for pain, high dosage), have several painful conditions including rsd which is nerve issue. want a life again! anyone that can help i would greatly appreciate feedback. ## Hi, Arlene! I had a dr in Toledo prescribing me Methadone for chronic pain & he just retired & gave me my records & referred me to pain management. I went back to my family Dr with this & he also in turn is sending me 2 pain management. But I've been waiting for them to find me a dr now for almost a week. I'm wondering if there are doctors available in Myrtle Beach, SC that can treat patients on a month to month schedule with methadone. I currently go to a clinic daily and am finding the fuel for transportation harder to come by everyday. I would like to see a doctor that can write prescriptions for methadone to avoid this. I get dose everyday 120mg. And I was giving a drug test. It's been 24 hrs. Since my last dose. I give the urine first before getting dose and when my drug test came back it was negetive for all drugs plus the methadone. Now I like to know if its possible bc the clinic wants to take away my take homes.

I take these for chronic back pain and I have a bad cough so doc gave me this cough syrup but it was new clinic n didn't ask what else I was on and I'm so sick it slipped my mind as well ## Well that would be adding another narcotic to the mix, since Codeine is one of the ingredients. As I'm sure you're aware, they can all cause depression of the central nervous system, so they more you take, the more risky it gets. Hi, IM LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE PRESCRIBER IN MASS. I'm on the methadone MMT program & i'm using it for mostly pain maknagement. I'm on 130mil of methadone a day but got a couple 75mil tapenadols from a friend bc in 2 weeks had 6 teeth pulled and dentist only gave me 5mil hydros. I don't know if there was a bottom number but it's a white round pill with 54 on top ## I located a white round pill with "54" on top and "142" on the bottom, to be identified as Methadone hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-4571 Another white round pill with "54" on top and "411" on the bottom is identified as Buprenorphine hydrochloride 8 mg. Manufacturer: Roxane Laboratories, Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00054-0177 There happen to be at least a handful more of these types of pills (with "54" on top) from this particular manufacturer. I live in south bend indiana and will travel to go to a clinic. I have been on methadone for years for pain. My doctor will no longer see me. Please help ## Methadone Clinics do not treat chronic pain. And there is a difference between physical dependance from taking it for a long time, as with chronic pain, and the criteria used when evaluating someone for methadone maintance due to addiction, If you're able to find a dr that will treat you, they will need to get a copy of your medical records from your last dr. You didn't say why your last dr refuses to treat you. But depending of the reason, it may be almost impossible to find a dr to treat you like you have been in the past.

Need to know if there are. Any side effect to take nuvigel while on methadone prescribed to both but by two different doctors. Crossed my mind to ask my last visit. ## Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Nuvigil (Armodafinil) and Methadone; so you should be fine taking the two together, unless otherwise told by your doctor for some reason or another. Used to be with a dr who prescribed Meth. and was taking 140 mg. Then finally got off and started Morphine. Now my private Dr doesn't want to keep prescribing and I can't find a pain management dr. This is my first time ever posting on here and I have been on this site before reading other posts and comments to get my answer. So I have been doing pain killers on and off since I was 21 I am now 30 yrs old. I have kicked opiate withdrawal dozens of times. I have kicked methadone 85 mgs twice about 4 yrs ago. I have managed to not get severe withdraws. I use for a couple of days or so then stop or ween down with loratabs and then quit for a couple days or up to a week. Mild withdrawals are all I have felt and no better when I feel like that to not use and tough it out. I don't know where I am going with this just wanted to know if any one else is doing this routine as well to start a conversation as see where it goes.
