Mallinckrodt Adderall Reviews (Top voted first)

I am not sure how Mallinckrodt's generic products (quality) are in general, but if you take generic Adderall IR, it is horrible! Very weak, with an obvious lack of efficacy. Does anyone here have feedback on how Mallinckrodt's Adderall might compare to other drug manufacturers?

I take Mallinckrodt adderall IR 20mg now: white pill, octagon shape with M inside a square on the other side. It's ok now because I took one poster's advice. I cleansed my body using the liquid laxative from the Dollar Tree, this is the method I used, you might want to use a different approach. I drunk half the bottle one day. The next day, I drunk the other half or the remaining. That is when I noticed a big improvement as far as the side effects. The only side effect, for me, was no appetite. But over a course of a week my appetite returned. That poster also suggested avoiding sodas. And she or he was spot on.

This manufacturer's adderall forces you to eat clean and drink plenty of water. That is not a bad side effect. Those of you who are having problems, why not try to dexo your body first. Believe me when I tell you, you will feel the difference.

The first month I was on 10mg twice a day. I had almost all the side effects people described here. This is my second month on this medication. I am a 50 female.

I have no idea if this information will help anyone but I thought I would put it out there. Because it helped me. Please post if you noticed this advice worked for you.

I have had nothing but problems from this "company''. Do they make any drugs that actually work? I feel like I am dealing with a drug dealer - what adulterant are they using today? Well, with Mallinckrodt we all know that they do not pad their pills - they just lack the necessary skills to market drugs that they did not even make. Is there something that can be done or are we stuck with chinese pain pills that do not work.

White 20mg with m marked on it doesn't work for not only me but to many others to even keep this in the market what's the point of taking a pill that only makes your heart race it doesn't even make you focus like other generic adderal does this product sucks and stuck with out taking my med for a month because of this crap

I have always taken 30 mg Adderall (the orange tablets) until today. I was dispensed a white 30 mg octagon shape (NDC 0406-8894 from SpecGx / Mallinckrodt). Does anyone else notice a difference? It's like a placebo.

Tonya, I’m feeling the same way. I have been sick with a cold so I was blaming that at first but now I think it’s this crap adderall. I’m having shortness of breath and my head feels all weird. I’ll also feel itchy every once in awhile… what symptoms are you experiencing? I’m honestly kind of afraid to keep taking it.

I told the FDA this. The TEVA, Mallonckrodt, camber, etc. and other adderall scripts I got, were not working after the shortages were posted. I literally said ‘I think they’re using less ingredient and need to be investigated’… the FDA got back to me but I didn’t have any of my pills left so I didn’t know how to answer them.

I still have the email to respond to… and I will. But my original complaint was with teva since they stopped working after April (for me), and now I’m on a different generic (that still doesn’t work)… I just don’t know what to tell the lady at FDA

I complain to the FDA medwatch. You can find a place to complain read on their website. If we don’t tell them they don’t know, the drug company doesn’t care.

there’s also a page on the FDA site that shows your current drug shortages, and I find that after there’s been a shortage sometimes the generics are really bad. Like they’re trying to get away with using less active ingredient, or maybe they figure we’re also desperate will take it anyway. I don’t know but I refuse to take that brand, and I also refused to take Aurobindo/Auro Brands (any medication from them is BAD).

No it’s that manufacturer.
I am really sensitive to meds and sometimes only take half my dose of adderall. With theirs I have to take 50% more than my prescribed dose.
They’re bad.

This is by far the worst generic brand. I have been on the 30mg dose 2x a day for a few years. Occasionally, I would get this generic and just suffer through the month until I could get a better generic. It was only occasionally that this low quality drug would be my only option. I have been getting a 3 month supply for my last two prescriptions from Costco. Both were this horrible brand. I literally have not taken 1/3 of them and am taking them back to Costco with a new prescription. They have strong side effects (headache, stomach pain, severe heart burn) and make my sleepy. I am asking Costco to have the potency and ingredients checked and complaining to the FDA. This is completely unacceptable. I will have my tablets evaluated by a lab and compared to my next prescription at my own expense. This medication by this manufacturer is not worth taking. It is worth flushing down the toilet. I will return them for evaluation and complaint.

Constipation, headaches,and off taste are common effects when they change the binding material for the drug.

Yeah, I am really sensitive to medication, to the point that I break my 10 mg Adderall and half sometimes to get the perfect dose. I take Teva. When I got stuck with the ones with the M on it, a 10 mg felt much weaker than the 5 mg I usually take, but if I increase that dose at all by 5 mg I felt like crap.

I am also on on 20mgs of adderall IR i have a terrible experience with M 8 side’s Octagon shape. I’m gonna try this cleansing thing and I will post how that works for Me 55 year old female

I have bad stomachache & also bad headache. I feel like I have the flu or something. I tried taking half but it’s so weak that is big NO! I’m so fed up with these generics I can’t stand it. I need My meds so bad but I’m gonna have stop taking them it looks like. Good luck to hope You find something that is good with You.

We shouldn’t have to cleanse our body for our medication to work. I’m calling around to different pharmacies to see if any use a different manufacturer. If not I’m going to have to tell my doc to write my prescription for non-generic because these don’t work at all. Or there is no reason for me to continue my medication and I’ll have to find a new doctor who will help. But my doctor is great and will listen to me if I tell her. Good luck guys.

The medications we take orally get absorbed through our intestines, so if there’s a bunch of gunk sticking to the walls of them meds don’t get through as easily.

On the other hand, when people get constipated, sometimes they get too much because waste is sitting there soaking into your body while it waits to be eliminated.
