Lo Loestrin Fe - Missed Periods (Page 5)

I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal?

I started taking the pill December of last year, and i had normal periods up until September, and then they stopped... i have only missed a pill i think once, but i still haven't had a period and since October i have had serious abdominal pain... im planning on taking a test in a few days.

Hey! I completely understand what you're going through. I got on the pill before I started becoming sexually active and did occasionally get my period. Now that I am sexually active, however, I have noticed that I have missed my period for a few months now. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests within the past couple of months and they have all come back negative. Another thing this may have to do with is missing your pill or taking it at a time other than your usual. Reading these posts comforts me, I thought this was only happening to me! Well, if you should be worried, so should I! I have had exactly the same symptoms as you're describing. I was worried and took a pregnancy test but it was negative, so they may have changed there formula.

I have taken Loestrin Fe for about 6 months now and only missed one pill in month 4. My boyfriend and I have sex but he never finishes inside me and I never miss a pill but last month I didn't get a period. I had all PMS symptoms then they went away at the start of a new pack. I haven't had morning sickness or anything, should I be worried?

Yes! This happened to me the first time of the pill. I was nervous also, but I did not end up being pregnant. The pill messes with your hormones, so it may mess with your menstrual cycle. I got mine 4 months after. I hope you get yours soon!

I started taking Loestrin FE in July, and my periods were never periods, they were just 3-5 days of the light brown discharge. The only time I actually had real period discharge was when I'd miss a pill or two.. I take it regularly now, and I've been sexually active for just about every other day or more for the past 2 months and now I don't even get any discharge. Clearly, it's normal? Just thought I'd pitch in to say you aren't alone. I'm glad to know I'm not alone, also!

Hi, so this post particularly interested me because I am now about halfway through my second week of my third pack and I have had no problems up until now (and no periods) but just two days ago I started experiencing horrible bloating/stomach discomfort and irritability! I'm also active and quite conscious of my figure so bloating really, really bothers me. I'm going to end this pack but if it continues I was considering switching, should I hold out for longer? When did your bloating begin and when did it stop? Thanks!!

I've been on lo estrin fe for about a yr now. Last time I got my period was in February of 2012. 3 months later I asked my doc of it was normal she said yes. But I still haven't had it and its almost been a complete year!

I must say after reading all these I feel so much better about not having my period! I'm on my third pack and so far I've missed my last two periods. I do have sex but my boyfriend has never finished inside of me as extra precaution. I do intend to take a pregnancy test just to be safe, but now I feel a lot better knowing that this is normal and I'm not the only one!

have you gained any weight from not having your period? im on my second month with this pill no period. the hunger and fatigue is driving me insane im ready for the gym i get so tired im gaining weight out of no where.

I have been on the Lo Lo after the Loestrin 24, and periods have been erratic to an extent, two months ago i bled for 4 days, last month spotting & this month i am cramping & irritable but no spots or bleeding. I read the pamphlet that comes with the Rx & it says its normal, as well as most of the ladies here. Been on BC for years, this is both unnerving but comforting to know im not the only one, but periods are like the unfriendly reminder theres no baby on the way, so im still not excited.

I am literally in the same situation as you. I was on the loestrin 24 fe and now im on lo loestrin. It scares me that i havent gotten my recent period but now that i see someone else with this problem it makes me feel a little better.

Hello

Today will be the first day of me taking Lo Loestrin Fe and I'm NERVOUS. I was on the NuvaRing but I couldn't handle the side effects (cramps, headaches, etc). After reading this discussion I guess I should relax if I dont see a period after this month. I'm also relived to see no one had any nausea/vomiting while taking this pill. I just need to maintain the weight gain.

I am on my 4th pack and now I am missing my period... the first month I had sporadic bleeding, the second month it was normal... then the third just spotting and now nothing... I have all my PMS symptoms but nothing... I am sexually active and I am starting to get worried but I take my pill daily, have forgotten it once for a couple hours when on my second pack... and I ALWAYS have PROTECTED sex, checking the condom afterwards... after reading some replies I am feeling a lot better and assuming I shouldn't worry too much...but it is still annoying to not be having my period specially since I have the symptoms and cramps... I just want to hear opinions about this. Thanks.

I have been on lo loestrin for about 5 months and since I started I have seen any sight of a period. Took a few pregnancy tests just to be sure and they were negative but still should I be concern anyways?? I kinda feel I should have had some kind of break through by now.

Been on Lo Loestrin for 7 months...everything was fine for 3 months then no period at all for the other 3 months which I assumed was normal. But this month I'm 10 days into a heavy period (which started 2 weeks into the active pills) with no end in sight. Is this normal?? I'm freaking out a little.
