By the prescriptin of Doctor I have started taking Fludac (flouxetine) for my depression. It is 17 days since I have started taking it. In the past four days I observe a tendency of vomiting, lack of proper sleep and dizziness. Would these symptoms last? If so, would you advise me any solution so that I would continue taking Fludac so that I may get some relief from my de[pression? I've taken lexapro about five years ago for about a year or so and had no problems. I started back taking lexapro and I'm having chest tightness. I've stopped taking and chest feels better. I had only been on Lexapro for about 10 days and only taking half of 10mg. I tried the 10mg and it was too much for me.Thought I would gradually go back to the 10mg but the chest tightness started.M ## That is actually something that you will need to discuss with your doctor in regards to possible Lexapro alternatives. However I believe chest tightness is one of the possible side effects of this drug. I would personally advise to stay well hydrated, drinking lots of water throughout the day and see if that makes any difference. It sounds like your body is just more sensitive to it now and...

I do not have any Ins. right now and it is very expensive, I have been out of wrk for 9mos is there manufacturer's out there that will wrk with the cost or even supply for free for now? I know the reps for the drug lexapro does this and several other compamies too, can someone help with this? ## I think Forest Pharmaceuticals, the maker of Lexapro, did have an assistance program where your Dr. made out an RX of 90 pills, signed it on his/her letterhead, mailed it in, and they'd fill it for free. I myself need to look into whether or not this is still available. Also, I get samples of Lexapro from my Dr. Ask your Dr. if he/she has any samples of Lexapro, or when he/she may be expecting a shipment in...this has really helped me keep the costs down with this med. I accidently took two pills last Friday. Consequently, on my commute I was pulled over and apparently failed a drug test. Could this have been a result of the accidental taking of two pills instead of one inconnection with my lexapro and wellbutrin? ## I'm sorry, but I am not certain what you mean, what type of drug test did you fail? Deplin is a form of L-Methylfolate and helps regulate neurotransmitters to help with conditions such as depression. However, it is not known to actually affect other medications, other than lowering the level of some mood stabilizing anticonvulsant drugs. I also checked the Lexapro and Wellbutrin, but I am not really finding anything that may cause you to fail a drug test. how long does it takes effect so it can put me to sleep?
