Is There Such A Vicodin Strenght

Hi, This is jayjay124. Hope you are doing well. I have a question that needs to be answered about a certain strenght of Vicodin. Is there such a srenght as 1000mg. I have a co-worker that says that he was prescribed some a while back. I stated that I have never heard of such a strenght and that 1000mgs would be very hard on the liver and that I knew of someone that could give us an honest answer. Could you please answer this and put an end to this discussion. Thanks in advance for your expertise.

Strongest Vicodin that I know of is the 660/10 660 of acetaminophen and 10 of hydrocodone. Old rec.
max acetaminophen daily dose was 4000 mg.

Hi JayJay and thanks Rb for posting.

There is, however, one stronger dosage of Vicodin available, it contains 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen!

Thank you Verwon and Rb, This person that I am referring to seems to think that they are one of those know it alls. I have been under a doctors care for about six months now after having surgery for P.A.D. He had an broken ankle and had been taking 10/750mgs of Hydrocodone. I have been telling them about this website and how knowledgable a few posters are on any type of prescription medication. Because the type of job that I have someone is always getting hurt in one way or another, and sharing the type of medication that they have. Though we never switch with each other. Anyway, you guys are always helpful to me. Though I am still in a little pain, My doctor is slowly getting me off of the pain meds. I went from taking two Percocets 5/325 every 8 hours to 1 Hrodrocone 5/500 twice a day. Hopefully once the withdrawals start it won't be so tough. Thanks again for sharing your advice and expertise with everyone.
