I Want To Educate Opiate Patients

Updated

Research has proven over and over that trying to ban it or ditch opioids just doesn't work. So as a opiate patient of opioid therapy I will embrace it and teach you all. My doctor prescribes me 30mg oxycodone qty#150 every 28 days and that isn't swim, that someone is me so stop with the swim your already anonymous, just be honest. As a opioid patient and research analysis I will answer anyones questions. If you are a oxycodone lover get yourself a doctor and get them prescribed to you. If you get them prescribed to you u will be in the system with the docs and can pretty much go to any clinic now and in the near future and they will give them to you because u are a daily user or should I say patient. Docs like to see you on them for awhile before they start throwing huge strengths and quantities at you, just keep that in mind. Also, once your in the system as a opioid patient any the doc can look it up so be truthful when visiting pain clinics with intent to lie. Example "1" if you get pills off the street for a long time then go to a pain clinic and ask for 30mg because 30's take your pain away you wont get them. They have already searched, u dont get any pills from no doctor so dont say it. If you want high quantities and doses you gotta play the game like everyone did, start off with 5's and lower qty's. Example"2": someone who buys pills off the street spends tons and tons of money. A 30mg oxycodone will cost $30 a pill, thats only 3 pills. I get #150 tabs and I pay $73 to fill my meds without insurance. So always remember that its better to get them prescribed. If you like them and u can handle them and u want them to be a part of your life for a while then make that decision and get them from your doc. Besides you will be locked in for a very long time because docs will be generous on the amounts and milligrams if you are patient, don't abuse them, dont piss dirty, don't miss pill counts, u will never be cut off.... U may say but don't they taper you off after say 6 months...Yes and no, it depends on the clinic not the doc they usually will tell you on your first visit if their clinic is that type...If so, go to another clinic don't even get involved because we are trying to get you 30's and that takes months and months sometimes a year or so...Always push for higher doses every 3 - 6 months, don't get complacent nor comfortable, always complain about the pain your having when your meds wore off, never when your on them because they will discontinue if your pain is still at a 10. They always ask me at my appt where is my pain level right now on a scale of 1 - 10. I usually never tell them the answer. This is what I say, "When im on my medications (oxycodone and ibuprofen) my pain is stable at 3 or 4 but when im off its about a 8 or 9 sometimes 10. Don't always appear to only take narcotics; always throw tylenol or advil or ibuprofen in the wood works. Tell your doc hey, my pain is really high now because I took only a ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer as I try and use other remedies to bring my pain down and all also ive been doing physical therapy at this chiropractor blah blah blah, I think u get it right. So yes use my tactic and u will go up...Your best bet is to switch your pain management to your family doc and ask him not to send you to a pain clinic or allow you to transfer to him or her for your pain management and tell them u will sign a pain contract with them. It's better, more lenient, less drug panels, no pill counts, more pills, less questions, less people dramatically, funner etc....Just a better place to be...But most family docs dont want to track all that so they will not do it.....But mines did!!!
