How To Stop And What To Take Instead?
UpdatedHi, my 10yo son has ADHD, and he takes 60mg of Ritalin during the day. Having trouble falling asleep, 8monyhs ago we started giving him Clonidine 1 1/2 × 0.1mg at night to sleep. However he hates it, and takes forever to wake up in the morning and now we want to stop.
I am only now wondering the dangers of this medication long term on a 10yo, considering what it does to BP and everything else...and my son will need this for the next 10 to 50 years!
I would like to give him something else instead, but don't know what to give and how to proceed with swapping.
Please help us!
