How Soon Can I Get Pregnant?

Hi, I had my Jadelle implants removed in February 18th after having them for 3 years..been trying to get pregnant but no luck yet. I have baby fever and was wondering if its normal to take long to concieve. I have had regular periods too.

Hi Lyz just wondering if you have had any luck yet with becoming pregnant? I also had the Jadelle removed in Feb since having it in for 5 yrs and have been trying to conceive since. I was on the jab 8 yrs ago, stopped and got pregnant with my son 2 months later. It seems a lot of women are having trouble conceiving after the Jadelle, is this something to be concerned about?

Yes, it can take several months, after you stop any type of hormonal contraceptive, as reported by the NIH.

Usually, women are advised to wait 3 to 4 months, anyway, after stopping one, to give their body time to adjust and rebalance your hormones on its own.

Terri, no, it's really just a matter of time for your body to adjust to coming off of it.
