I took a 1mg xanax at 12:30pm and have to take a drug screen at 2:00pm the same day will it be detected in my urine

Roy out of 60 some comments your comment actually address the ACTUAL ORIGINAL QUESTION lol My digging got me about that exact time frame... Alprazolam (Xanax) is different than almost every other benzodiazepine •BESIDES XANAX ER• bc it is VERY fast acting & by 1-2 hrs the Alprazolam will be at it's peak levels in your system.. Sooo to be on the safe side bc of those 'Peak Level' times I'm goin' to say within 30 MIN the Xanax should be detectable in your system Idk if you agree, but that's about where I'm at

I have to agree w 'Not a Doct' on this one.. Almost 99.9% that you will test POSITIVE.. The only way that you maybe possibly test negative is if before you took the Xans your system was absolutely clean of Alprazolam & you pee as.many times as possible (Like all night long) but it would still be a VERY long shot

If your drug screens are NOT OBSERVED & you would like to know how to pass ALL your screens I can tell you... I've been taking them for years (Every week a actually) & have NEVER tested positive for anything that I didn't want to be in my system

Within 30 mins you are probably right ... but if you REALLY wanted to be safe, I'd say an hour. Also keep in mind that "peak levels" refers to being in the blood stream, which means if one is checking levels in urine, it needs to be metabolized by the liver first.

I suffer from severe anxiety and my pain management Dr refuses to prescribe me anything for it. However I do get xanax from a different Dr but I can't have it in my system when I go to my pain dr. My apt is on Friday if I were to take half of a 2 mg bar will it show up on my urine test on Friday morning. Because as of right now I don't have it in my system but like I said before I have severe anxiety. My chest starts tightening up my breathing turns erratic and I can't sleep. So I would really love to find out just how long it takes to enter you urine? Please and thank you

I'm sorry Angel but that is the most stupid, idiotic thing i've heard someone do in a long time. How could you think it would be out in 2 hours. In that length of time it's just starting to enter your urine. When I first read that I thought this has to be a joke. I'm sorry i don't mean to sound cruel and I apologize if it does. But we all learn from our mistakes. Next time give yourself a few weeks between.
