Higher Than Actual Levels In Oxycodone Blood Test
UpdatedI have been prescribed 100mg MS contin 2 times daily and 10mg oxycodone 4 times daily for severe back pain for over 2 years. I take them as directed and my body has built a very high tolerance to both meds after taking them for so long. What could possibly cause the results from a DUI blood test for oxycodone to show up higher than the actual level? Blood test showed 140 ng. MS Contin was 67ng. I realize that different medications metabolize at different rates, but this makes no sense to me. How many ng of oxycodone should show up in your blood 1 1/4 hours after taking 10mg? I don't know that it matters, but I weigh 245lbs.
