Hidroclorotiazida
UpdatedI was prescribed Lisino Hctz 10-12.5 in the USA for High Blood Pressure. I bought Lisionopril 10mg and Hidroclorotiazida 25 mg in mexico where i was told to cut the Hidroclorotiazida tablet in half and it would be the same. Is this true?

Technically speaking, that is correct - however, the combination of ingredients in the Lisino Hctz may be synthesized together in such a way that your body would process separate doses of the Lisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide slightly differently. All in all, it *should* be fine. Be sure to get it cleared by a doctor or pharmacist (if you were not already told to cut it in half by one).
