Given that this is a not a weight loss pill, It won't help with weight loss. Even if it was considered to have fat burning or appetite supressing properties, it is not going to do any good at all without proper dietary habits and an active lifestyle. Pills don't help you lose weight, but getting up and going for a run along with some strength training will (which is also much safer for your body, and better for achieving long term results). All you need is a decent diet and little determination to stay on track. Fluoxetine however may help with achieving a more positive mindset into building up that motivation to stay on track with eating habits and exercising regularly...

Fluoxetine 20 mg (Fludac 20) is approved for the treatment of major depression (including pediatric depression), obsessive-compulsive disorder (in both adult and pediatric populations), bulimia nervosa, panic disorder and premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
