I need a consistent Doc.,got terrible back pain and always have had,I've been on oxy 15's for 4 years and my doctor cut everything the first of the year please help!!

Melody, were you able to find anything? I could really use the help also. Ran into one person here in Indy that just used my supply and never returned the favor. I got hooked up a couple times but never repaid for what I provided.

It looks like everyone is looking for a good Dr. But no one seems to be posting one. I have followed this thread for a while trying to find a good Dr in the Indianapolis area. Have i missed something? {edited for privacy}

I am in Indy and have an Rheumatoid Arthritis and had back surgery several years ago herniated L4&L5 recently have found out I have no disc space now which is causing great pain. my pain is so under treated by all my doctors. So if you could would be appreciative for your doctor's information, am also looking for good pain management center.

Hi Lucky,

You don't need to have actual contact with your old doctor to get records. Your pharmacy can provide you with a record of prescriptions that you have filled. However, a new doctor might request medical records, imaging results, etc. to document the problems causing your pain. Even though your doctor's practice has been closed, you'll still be able to get your records. They have been archived somewhere. Since your former doc's office was shut down for apparent disciplinary reasons, you should contact your State Attorney General's office. You'll be directed to the location where your records have been stored, or you may be connected to the State's Board of Medicine to find your records. In any case, you can obtain your history fairly easily.

I live Michigan and my dr has retired. I was gettong pain meds and can't fimd a dr that well give me pain meds. My pain is thyriod problem and back pain. I have a Exray and utrial soumd on my throat and neck, please help. I'm a medical user also and se dr eant give paineds to medical users not cool.
