False Postive Urine Test Benzo

I tested positive for benzo twice within about a ten 10 period.

Before the first test I did take (1) percocette about 3 days before the test. I did have a precscrip for it. The problem is this did not show up.......something about benzo, they told me anxiety meds could cause this, I am not on anything other than beyer asprirn and a occasional advil. This urine test was at a counseling class I have to attend for alcohol.

The second failed test was I reported the first one to my probation officer, he then tested me.....guess what? Benzo again, Was clean for alcohol, had detox at the end of june, have followed all the rules and trying to stay out of troub.e..

The PO called the judge and said i needed to go that day and have a blood test done (I had to pay $300.00+) for the test. Report to court this coming week and show I had the test done on that day and the results if they are in.

I am a scared to death, I am an older geek, never been in trouble in my life and now facing jail time for a parole violation.......

Again, never taken any type benzo, did not even know anyting about it until this past week.

Do you know any other details, such as what type of test they used? Which Benzodiazepine you tested positive for?

Thank you for the response.
The counseler did a urine test which was sent to a lab.
The PO did it in the mens room of his office, this was urine and the container color coded depending on what was shown in the specimen.

Just got the results from the blood test today, NOT GOOD. Showed positive for
Benzodiazepines and
Nordiazepam (90) ?

I went thru detox at the end of June thru July 3rd, called the facility yesterday and a lady told me they do give benzos' for alcohol detox, told me to call back today (Saturday) and talk to the case worker.
He stated there was no way they should be in my system this long for me to test positive.

I have taken responsibility for my alcohol problem, and have done everyting asked of me to do, I am ahead of schedule on the counseling sessions, paid my po on time....everything....
Now this........looks like I will be in violation of my probabtion and they are going to put me in jail. I am sick about this......do not know what to do.
All I do know is I have not done anything wrong.

Yes got the results two saturdays ago Went back to court and they threw me in jail, 30 days, but could get out after doing x dys in jail, wound up doing 11 days.

Needless to say I am disgusted, still do not know what i did to test dirty, so while I am probation they will test me again, if test dirty again, back to jail.

I have been on a very strict pain management program for over 20 years with 100% clean UA's, which are Federal Goverenment mandatory testing for pain medication refills. I have never smoked pot and do not use cocaine, meth, crank etc. January 2013 my UA came back positive for benzodiazepines. The only thing I have added to my medications and supplements is white bean extract, green coffee bean extract and bromelain (pineapple extract) and Chlorphen Tabs which is an antihistimine. I am finding conflicting info on Chlorphen Tabs and false positive benzoid results, could it be the Chlorphen?
