Fake Yellow V 3601 (Page 3) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI refilled my prescription and received some yellow 10/325 vicodin. I normally take my dose and feel so much better, but the ones I just got make me so so sick. I vomit and feel hungover. I am concerned these are a bad batch or something I need them for my pain but am so scared to take these particular ones again. How can I tell if they are fake and/or bad? Please help.
Also easy way of spotting fakes for example: ip 209, where the 2 curves on the bottom. If you look closely it looks like an imprint of a very small triangle. "Easier to see if you look in the light". Matter of fact all 2's should have it on pain medicine. It's so hard to explain without actually showing you. I worked for a pharmacy. Sold a man his regular prescription, man came back next day with 20 gone and meds I sold were replaced with fakes trying to say we shorted him and gave him counterfeit. I showed my boss (an actual pharmacist for 30 years) and he showed me. Explained that is the trademark. Anyways we refused to take them back from the customer so he got all upset and left, never saw him again. Then literally a month later someone from a different pharmacy had told us a story about a man doing that to his pharmacy and he explained the same thing my boss did. It turned out to be the same customer. Crazy...
It doesn't really matter it's all a manufacturing thing. Say all of them are going down a belt and printed with the numbers then they go down a different belt in however they land as long as the numbers are side down the v can be printed upside down or right side up from the numbers it's not anything to worry about. Doesn't mean anything. Some candies out there are the same
Curiosity- Are you meaning 4 ppl split one 10mg hydrocodone/Tylenol Am du felt the effects in 10min? Similar to a Xanax?
Re: David (# 1)
Hell, I've been taking all kinds of pain meds for decades and never vomited except when I OD'd on codine once. Talk to your doctor Now! This is not right and you need a different brand of med.
My aunt gave me a couple and i noticed they didnt take my pain away so i inspected the pill and the v is up side down
Re: Speedo (# 53)
This is a really big thing to take into consideration. As well as if you have food in your stomach, other meds on board
Re: Ann (# 6)
I know can try and ask around. The activis plant is actually down the road from my house. I've only been by there but yeah I think different brands react different and there getting so hard to get now for us people who really need them for our pains
Re: lynne (# 20)
The v on the front and the number backwards1063 is it the real one
Re: David (# 1)
The yellow 36/01 v
They are fake ,my head hurt back and lose bowls,I took my dose no results so I took another ,a they are totally fake, what should I do I'm in pain .
I have a light yellow tablet with v on one side and 3601 on the other side. They are yellow on the outside and white on the inside. Are these tablets okay?
Mine are both facing the same way.
I know what you mean I somewhat hate the yellow ones for the side effects you feel. I sometimes feel like I took crack after I come down or the next day. I always prefer white ones because I don't get that heavy roller coaster side effect. I gave a few yellows to my 2 of my friends, the first passed out on my balcony. Scared the s*** out of me. Luckily he came too and the other couldn't stop throwing up for hours and called in sick from work.. I never got that bad but my tolerance is probably elite but yeah they say oh there's no difference but I can tell there is big difference taking them..
This is EXACTLY what happened to me when I picked up my new prescription. I have never had an issue with these hurting my stomach and not giving me pain relief until this new prescription. something is wrong, what can we do?
I received yellow colored Norco 10 325 with V on one side and then 3601 on the other now people are telling me that these are stronger their time release and I think it's bull crap I think if you get a prescription from your doctor and you go to the pharmacy and you get it filled it's not going to be a fake Bill they're all the same they're all different manufacturers.
Wow can't believe all I read so far lol. Just saying if u get em from ur pharmacy and have an issue call them to verify u got the right medicine, but it definitely wouldn't be a fake and it's illegal to buy or receive another person's narcotics. Wow people stop getting stuff off people; if u really need it go to the hospital or your Dr.
Upside down from each other.. taste kinda funny, thought maybe because of packaging. But I thought personal the cover was off. I maintain with daily basis but to day did this V, (same as topic #s) and 4 ppl split it and within ten min all start feeling it... with almost a Xanax effect.. most Def curious about this
Do the fake ones contain 10 mg of hydrocodone? What about acetaminophen content?
Yes I am prescribed the 7.5 Watson and now they do not help with the pain like a few months ago now I end up having to take more at 1 time and can't get the doctors to understand
@Concerned patient,
If you're receiving these meds through your doctor from a licensed pharmacy there should be no reason to even question whether or not they're real/fake. Pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, but often times they do dispense ineffective brands/generics that lack quality from cheap manufacturers. I usually don't see too many complaints pertaining to the yellow V 36 01 from Qualitest; and I've also been told on a number of occasions that they are actually thought to be much better than some of the other tablets on the market. But then again it's common knowledge that each person may react differently as well.
If you did get this legitimately however, then one thing I would encourage you to do is report it to the FDA's MedWatch Program, where you can express your concerns/side effects in detail to the FDA.
And just for the record - vomiting, lightheadedness, nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness, are all listed as common side effects of Hydrocodone on nih.gov. So it may also be that your body chemistry just isn't responding to it in the same way it used to. They recommend contacting your doctor if these symptoms are too bothersome or do not go away on their own.
Hope you feel better soon!
