Extreme Fatigue On Xarelto (Page 4)

Hello,

Hope someone can help. I've been hitting a wall of fatigue everyday about 1pm to the point where I need to take a 2 hour nap when my daughter is napping and its painful to wake up even after that. I take Xarelto everyday with dinner to treat a DVT. I've been on it 4 months. Is this a known side effect? I tested my theory when I started to realize this began after taking Xarelto and skipped a dose one evening. The following day I didn't need a nap and didnt have that same debilitating exhaustion. I'm only 34 this is no time to be this tired after a full nights sleep! It feels like a crash, an unnatural exhaustion. Thanks!

I just started taking Xarelto myself about 3 weeks ago and I am always exhausted. I'll wake up feeling exhausted, but by early afternoon I'm really tired and need to sit down and relax. It's almost like a mild flu-ish feeling. I too feel like falling asleep around 7 or 8 at night and many time during the day as well - I just can't seem to stay awake.

This is my biggest complaint. I am 36 years old and I am so exhausted. My eyes just want to close. I take my pill at 9 am every day and thought about switching to evening to see if it would help. It's very frustrating because I am an active person with no energy.

I have the same problem. I started taking Xarelto just over a week ago. I broke my hip in an accident and need to be on a blood thinner for another 3 weeks. I normally sleep 4-6 hours a day. I now sleep around 12 hours a day. It is very frustrating.

I can be having a conversation with someone and an overwhelming tired feeling washes over me and I end up taking a 3 hour nap.
