Dizone And Diabetes (Top voted first)

My Brother-in-law is a chronic Alcoholic...My sister-in-law has heard of this tablet and wants to give her husband...My main concern is that he is a diabetic patient and is on OHD...will taking this tablet interfere with his diabetes? Thanking you

Dizone contains the active ingredient Disulfiram, it is used to treat alcoholism by causing severe, unwanted side effects, when someone drinks, such as nausea and diarrhea.

And generally, no it isn't recommended in people who are diabetic, because this greatly increases their risk of developing severe liver complications from the medication.
