How many of these pills {Pink Oval pill IP 52 on it} does it take to get a euphoria? Also can these pills be insufflated? ## This tablet will not get you high and it isn't safe to snort any tablet, since they are not made to be used in such a manner. The tablet you mentioned with the marking IP 52 contains 10mgs of Citalopram, which is nothing more than an SSRi antidepressant. Learn more Citalopram details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Rediculius that someone needs to go online to ask IF they can feel high off a pill that they don't even know what it's for. Prescribed for you, take it. If not, then don't. And people wonder why we have so many RX laws! Editor's note: this thread has been locked because it violates our terms of use.

Can the use of Depramil or Citalopram lead to tinnitus? ## Hello, Lestie! How are you? Yes, that can be a side effect of this medication, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. How long have you been taking it? If it's been over 4 to 5 weeks and you're still experiencing it, you may need to switch to a different medication, with your doctor's approval. ## Hello there and thank you for your reply. Yes I have been taking it for some 6 months now (Depramil), though I understand that Depramil is a generic. When I started I took Auro Citalopram and I did not experience any bad side effects. Just recently (say 4 weeks or so) I have had 'vague' tinnitus. It is a quiet hum that I tend to forget when I am c...

I've been taking citalopram for just over a week and I've got the shakes and my walking has gotten slower. Also, I tend to forget things. I am feeling washed out and tired. I'm not bothering with my appearance as I can't be bothered to even cook myself a hot meal. I'd rather live on crisps and snacks. Is this normal or does it get better with time? ## No, this is NOT normal. It sounds like you are having a bad reaction to the medication and you should contact your doctor immediately to inform them. They will want to rule out other causes and if it is the medication, you may need to try something else. Have you contacted them, yet? ## Hi. I've just been put on citalopram 10mg a day for depression and anxiety. Has anyone out there benefited from this drug and does ...

Hi, I recently started back up on Citalopram 20mg after being off for a couple months. I was sluggish in keeping up with my Psychiatrist appointments and ran out of refills and just a couple weeks ago received a new prescription. This drug has worked great for me before - I got things done, was motivated, had plenty to say to others, smiled often, experienced real emotion - when I was off, I noticed all of those things dwindling. Now that I'm back on (2 weeks in) I'm still not feeling that great. Since it's worked for me in the past it has to kick in at some point right? ## Hi Ryan, I am in the same situation. I tapered off and went without medication for 2 months. My anxiety started to resurface and I'm currently back on 10mg. This is day 7 am I'm experiencing the s...

I have some of what i think to be Celexa and i cant find the picture of it. It is oval white in color and reads c40 with what looks to be a chevron on the back of it. Yes, the tablet with the Cobalt logo and C40 is now manufactured by Apotex and they list it as containing 40mgs of Citalopram. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain.

I have been on citalopram 20mg since april 2014 For about a week now my anxiety has returned , very similar to the initial side effects i experienced over the first couple of weeks of taking it. Could it be a sign my dose is too high or need to increase it - something i dont really want to do. Also does anyone else experience skin sensations - very difficult to describe but its like slight tingling and a feeling of cold? ## Hello, Carolem! How are you feeling? The skin sensations can be normal and many medications can cause them as side effects. The one I'm on for my blood pressure causes it on my head, anytime I'm in the sun, which is a very strange experience. LOL If you're anxiety has returned, it most likely means that you need a dosage increase. The FDA lists the other ...

oval white pill one side has c 40 other side has looks like an arrow ## Hi Linda, From what I could gather, I strongly believe that this pill is Citalopram (40 mg). The primary reason I don't know for certain is because I haven't located a photo of the pill to verify the arrow-like marking on the back. However the imprint "C 40" on a white oval pill is identified as Citalopram (40 mg). The manufacturer of this pill is Cobalt Laboratories. You may want to consider contacting them through the link below to verify the marking on the back of the pill: Additional information about Citalopram can be found in the link below: I hope this helps! ## what is this pill (arrow on one side and c 40 on the other) used for? someone dropped one on my bathroom floor

Is this normal and when will i feel better. ## Hello, Stoneroses! How are you? I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. Yes, those symptoms can be normal, when you stop one medication and start another. As listed by he FDA, you may also experience dizziness, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. It may take about 3 to 5 weeks on the Sertraline, before things settle down and you start to feel better. If things don't improve by then, you should consult your doctor. Hello, I have been having episodes of what my GP said were anxiety attacks, which I thought was weird in itself since I had no major incidences in my life that may have triggered it. Anyway I have been on citalopram for 3 weeks now and I feel emotionally limited, scared to sleep, lack of appetite, low libido and generally scared of life. I really do not like them. Should I stop taking them and is this normal? ## Hello, Faz! How are you? Usually, right around 3 to 4 weeks is where the side effects hit their peak and they should taper off and stop entirely soon after that. At that point, you'll be able to tell how well it's working for you. Other possible side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache and weight changes. Thus, you m...
