Canadian Made Pills That I Need To Identify (Top voted first)

Updated

These are the pills that I have that I can't seem to identify.

1) First one is made by Pharmascience in Canada. It is bright orange, round, scored on one side, marked PMS on the upper scored portion and 10 on the lower half. The other side is blank, no score or markings.
2) Second one is also a Pharmascience pill. It's round, paler orange, and it has their logo on one side, a P with a circle behind it. The other side is scored and has an L on the upper portion and a 5 on the lower portion.
3) Third one is an oblong "capsule" shaped pill, bright orange color, imprinted on one side is N 500, the N and 5 are more prominent and the two 0's are engraved lighter. There is a score going through the imprint, above and below the 5. The back is plain, no markings.
4) Fourth one is a blue oval pill, about a cm long, and is only imprinted with a 30 on one side and nothing on the other side.

I've tried to find these pills online with no luck. They're all from Canada and I think most pill identifier databases only show US made pills maybe?
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! :-)

I am Canadian, living in Canada....we mark all pills with a large or Capital N for Narcotic...so there is no miustake...they put the N in front of the Rx number on the bottle...few makers will imprint on the pill itself...rest assured the N = Narcotic 500..- Exactly what it is..I have no idea.

Hey :-)
Thank you for the reply! I appreciate the info. I don't have any bottles as they were all found in a bag together, so that's why I'm here!

@cagedtiger,

I may have identified the first pill with the PMS 10 imprint as Clonazepam (1 mg). There is a period between the 10- like 1.0. There is also the imprint "clonazepam" on the back, perhaps it rubbed off at some point? The Manufacturer is Pharmascience, Canada. If you google "pms 10 clonazepam" you should see the image of the pill I'm describing.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Clonazepam Details

The third pill you are describing could possibly be Paxil (30 mg), which is a blue oval pill about a cm long with the imprint "Paxil" on one side and a 30 on the other.

Manufacturer: GlaxoSmithKline

National Drug Code (NDC): 00029-3212

Thank you so much for putting in all that effort Jenna. I think you may be right about the first one, for the second one, it does look like that except it doesn't say paxil on the back. I'm going to check with a pharmacist, they should know. That will put me at ease. Thanks! :-)

Hey Dr. Feelnogood,

Hope you're feeling better! Thanks for the info, I don't think in this case that the N stands for Narcotic. Maybe it stands for the name of the drug? Naproxen for example? I don't know...
