It is a very strong nonnarcotic sleeping medication and mood stabilizer......Dont' take this and drive ........be prepared to sleep for a long time.......it gave me side effects eventually horribly and I believe there are lawsuits to take it off the market. I was prescribed 300 mg and stopped taking it ....it was impossible to function and take care of my child. It works for many but not me. If you try it , I would be prepared to have your responsibilites put on hold. the way it works is it slows down your brain waves to almost not working causing you unable to concentrate on anxiety issues or keep u awake..the proper spelling is seroquel
