Butrol is a name for the chelating agent dihydroxy-hydroxymethylpropyl-tetraazacyclododecane-triacetic acid used as part of Gadovist, a constrast agent for MRIs
could it be suboxone? I am currently on this medication and it is very similar to butrol
Bruce is correct, but the nickname was actually LAAM, which you can see in the page I linked to.

The newest medication for drug addiction that has proven to be very effective and has enabled many people to become completely drug free is Suboxone:

It contains the narcotic Buprenorphine, with Naloxone, to prevent the use of other narcotics, while someone is under treatment with it.
Are there any questions?
I think this was the drug they nicknamed LAMB. It was discontinued due to the negative effects it had on the heart.
I can't find anything under the name, but perhaps it was one that is commonly referred to as Methadol?
The actual compound name is Levacetylmethadol.
More details here:

However, this one has been discontinued in the U.S.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
