Back Pain On Micardis

Hi there, I have been on Micardis 40 mg for 5 weeks & for at least 18 days I've been suffering from lower back pain. Has anyone suffered from this. I had been on Trandate for c.7 years due to pregnancy & breastfeeding but was originally on Micardis for c10 years with no side effects. I'm finding this back pain so debilitating. I'm going back to my gp on Monday but also have a physio appointment in case it's just a coincidence. Thanks

It can be a side effect of this medication and I have experienced it myself from several blood pressure/cardiac medications. In all cases, I had to see my cardiologist and switch medications.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

Yes, I had back pain for two weeks when I started Micardis. Eventually, it subsided. The medication, however, has not worked well for my blood pressure (80mg 1xd).
