Can Ketoconazole be taken with antibiotics that I am taking to treat my UTI? ## Ketoconazole is an antifungal medication, I cannot tell you about any possible interactions, however, without knowing the name of the antibiotic in question. If they are both prescribed for you, your pharmacist should automatically check for any possible interactions when filling the prescriptions. Dr prescriped Scholls Solution 15 ml three times a day with meals for my Mother, but my pharmist can not find it, plus cannot get a hold of the doctor. What is this drug?? ## Wow, I can't find anything so far, except for Dr. Scholls Solution for Foot fungus, which is not something you would ingest with a meal three times a day, it is topical only. Do you know what he was prescribing it for? I will keep checking the various databases that I have access to as I can here, but maybe if I know what it was prescribed for, it will help to narrow it down, also, some docs have atrocious handwriting, so please double check the spelling. My son has red water rash on both hand. after water came out, the skin will peel, it only happen on the palm and not on back of the hand. he had this befor It is called athlet's foot. I have a tube of spectazole cream that is used for athletes foot/ and or ringworm. Is it still usable after the expiration date? ## When any medication expires it probably doesn't work as good. I would talk to you doctor that prescribed you spectazole cream, so he/she can prescribe you a new one. Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do.

ointment ## Rx'ed Ketoconazole ointmens 2x/day due to round quarter sized rings at the upper side of each armpit. After 2 days of use, the areas of treatment became very red and irritated..... almost to burning. I have stopped using meds at this point. ## This contains an antifungal drug, used to treat and prevent fungal infections of the skin.

I found it in my son's prescription that we just got filled at a pharmacy. ## The best place to get this drug is at Walmart. It is $4 for a 30 day supply ## Well, my son's prescription of cingulair had it in it and it really alarmed me. Pharmacy couldn't really tell me what it was, so that is why I posted. If I ever need terbinafine, I'll remember Walmart. Thanks!

All meds work differently for different people, those that work well for some do not work at all for others, you have to try them and then if they provide no results, speak to your doctor to explore other options.

some kind of crean for my feet.i am a dib.and having trouble wwith my feet ## Sounds like you are taking a mix of Terbinafine and Hydrocortisone. Terbinafine (marketed as Lamisil) is used to kill fungus, and Hydrocortisone is used to treat itching, swelling, redness, etc.
