Amlovasc contains the active ingredient Amlodipine, it is a calcium channel blocker that is commonly used to control high blood pressure.
You should contact your doctor, about trying something else. These are known side effects, that it can cause in some people, but usually when it causes the muscle aches, that are making your neck hurt, it doesn't wear off, but tends to continue.
You will probably need to switch to another medication.
