For about a year now my Walgreens Pharmacy has only been able to get the Sun brand, and even that is often on back order. Several times I’ve had a bottle that several of the pills just dont work. Has anyone else had this experience? I’ve had other brands that seemed to work better but don’t remember the makers. A friend told me that he has experienced this issue as has his sister, but he didn’t know the maker. Does anyone have a brand that works better than others? ## Simply put, the ER formulations for me never helped much only instant release did and worked very well...much much better than the Extended Release. Ask the Doctor for a low dosage of the Immediate release, if they will do that. It seems the ER formula isnt working for you. I was also taking the 12....

Taking Lupin zolpidem ER round blue..works great. Pharmacy now has Sandoz zolpidem ER round pink. Both 12.5. Totally ineffective. Have gone back and forth before due to what pharmacy gets. The Sandoz is useless. Anyone else noticed this? ## Hello, Jay! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you've had. Alternatively, I took the Sandoz brand and it worked great for me and I didn't do well with the Lupin. It can just vary from person to person. We are all different. The only real way to avoid this is by asking your doctor if they can prescribe it as 'brand medically necessary', or whatever the equivalent is in your state. According to the FDA, this medication may cause side effects that could include nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, funny taste in mouth, sleep...

I am currently taking a daily dose of 12.5 mg Stilnoct tablets, prescribed by my sleep specialist, for my sleeping issues. The generic name of this medication is Zolpidem. However, as of late, even this 12.5 mg dosage seems ineffective in aiding my sleep. What should be my course of action? As a medical doctor myself, I am concerned about the potential side effects, efficacy, and overall safety of this medication. Are there any safer or comparable alternatives for my insomnia? Is it advisable to consult another doctor?

I was taking zolpidem CR/12.5mg for about 6 months. A few days ago, I came home from working an evening shift and drank one 24 ounce can of beer (officially two drinks). 3 hours later I took my usual dose of zolpidem, which I use approx 3 times each week. I really thought nothing of it at the time. I didn't use them together at the same time. I don't get high, I don't look for a buzz. I don't remember anything else. I got up at some point and took more (i assume, because the bottle was halfway gone. I don't remember doing this, it's not something I have ever done and I have always followed prescribed dosing. After going to bed, the next thing I remember is waking up 50 miles away in jail, in a county completely unfamiliar to me (i didn't know how to get there...

white scored pill with "ph" on one half and "125" on other half ## Hi david, I haven't found any matches for the pill you are describing, however there is a possibility it could be Zolpidem. Zolpidem is the active ingredient in Ambien, a prescription sleeping pill. Where did you find the pill? If it's not Zolpidem, it could possibly be some sort of OTC or foreign medication. If you can't have it lab tested, I recommend that you safely dispose of it. Has anyone else seen a white pill with the imprint ph 125? If so, please post any information you can! ## I've got 2 of these given to me today by a friend at college, everything is in a foreign language except for '10mg' And ofcourse the PH125 White round pill. There's been some confusion in the forums where people think this could be an Oxycodone tablet. This is actually a generic Ambien CR 12.5 (Zolpidem), NOT an oxycodone. I have it actually in my hand with the bottle. NDC Code 0781-5316. Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Hydroxypropyl Cellulose - Hypromelloses - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Polyethylene Glycols - Ferric Oxide Red - Talc - Titanium Dioxide ## Hello S, You're absolutely right. The pill imprinted with 229 and SZ is listed by the NIH as a Zolpidem tartrate pill. I am 65 and have had hypertension treated sucessfully with Ibestartin 300/12.5, Amlodine 5mg and perindopril 5mg very successfully. Six weeks I had an emergency admission to hospital with incapacitating leg pain.and as a result had a microdiscectomy and forminotomy operation which was successful. As i have always monitored my BP I was concerned to see my BP increase to levels around 170/90. My doctor changed my medication to Coveram 10x10mg to counter this in place of Amlodopine and Perindopril, which I understand and agree with. Can you advise when results might be reasonably be seen with this increase in dosage. Also I take Zolpidem 5mg and as this is not always effective am considering also taking 2mg of Circadin prescribed by my doctor rather than increase Zolpidem. Is this a reason...
