Withdrawal Symptoms From Aleve Naproxen

my 78 year old father has been taking naproxen for 3 years. because he had elevated levels of an enzime the Dr. took him off naproxen. what kinds of withdrawl symptoms will he have. ## I have the same question. I have been off of Aleve for a week now in prep for surgery and am having terrible back pain, muscle spasms/quivering, general aches. Is this from withdrawal. I have taken 2 Aleve twice daily for about a year ## I ve been taking aleve gel caps daily for last 6 to 10 months and am experiencing horrible muscle pain and spasms. Wondering if stopping aleve is a contributing factor ## Same is happening to me. Can barely get thru my work day.
