I have been having anxiety attacks for over a year. Mydoctor has prescribed both Buspar and Lorazepam. The Lorazepam seems to work better than the buspar. Found this pill in my mother's Lorazepam bottle. It is different from all the others. The manufacturer is ACTAV, and markings on the pill are GG on one side, 16 on the other. Looking on various discussion threads comparing the two, I concluded that neither medication seems to have anymore clout than the other overall. However, from what I understand Lorazepam is reported to be longer lasting than Alprazolam. Hi. Since generic Lorazepams are basically the same, there still can be bad side effects switching to another, if one is discontinued. Some generics have different binders and fillers and maybe not enough, or too much of one component in which makes you sick. I am trying to find out what kind of pill it is. It's white, oval/eliptical/capsule shaped pill with APO 5 on one side and simply scored on the other side. Tastes sweet, like most benzos.
