These capsules had no markings to speak of, did you find this to be true as well? ## And to clear this up, in the U.S. there is one dosage of Oxycodone available in a capsule and it is 5mgs, they all also have markings on them. I didn't even have to look this one up, I have a whole bottle here and take them twice a day. I'm trying to manage pain for degenerative stenosis and see that hydrocodone is usually in 5 or 10 mg pills, while oxy, which is supposedly 2+ times stronger, is in 20 , 30 or 40 mg pills. Consider this! With the change related to Oxycontin my problem is the OP type of Medication just doesn't work! So... My doctor has added additonal 30mg Oxycodone's to my monthly medication list. The problem we are having is coming up with a near equal dosage. Depending upon which phamacist you talk to we are getting differnet answers. It doesn't matter howe many tablets you are prescribed the research is done by considering one 80mg Oxycodone and trying to come up wit hthe equal dosage using 30mg Oxycodone. Opinion's - One 80mg Oxycontin is supposed to last 12 hours giving 80 mg of oxycodone for the ful 12 hours, so if that is true then there has to be 960mg. of Oxycodone in each 80 mg Oxycontin. 30mg of Oxycodone tablets are prescribed for 3 - 4 hours. Kvk tech oxycodone 5 MG do not seem to work unless I up my dose from the prescription directions. I had brain surgery 3 mos. ago. Was almost off the oxycodone when I developed a bone infection in my skull. Went on very high dose. Came out of the hospital with a PICC line and on 20 mg ir oxycodone 6 x a day. Down to 5mg 6 x a day but now I am having a very hard time reducing anymore. Can I go down by half and not have any wd symptoms? Or should I come down slower. ## It might be best to taper slower, your doctor should be able to help you set up a proper schedule.
