I want to know as to whether the Allegra-M tablet contains any steroids. ## Hi SRINATH, To my knowledge, Allegra-M tablets do not contain steroids. what is the tan side of an allegra d and what is the white imprinted side? ## I need to know this information too, I excremented out the yellow side this morning. So weird. The white side was gone and the yellow was in perfect condition. ## I haven't been able to find any information that specifies. It is possible that the answer is neither. That may just be how they designed the pill to look, and both active ingredients may be evenly dispersed throughout both sides. Has anyone tried taking either side of the tablet to determine it's effects v.s. the whole? ## I'm thinking it's the time release, maybe. ## This just happened to me as well. That was how I found your comments. ## Happens to me every time I take an Allegra D.

pink # 810 ## Can I take 810 Allegra during the day or nite ## There is no specific time of day that it needs to be taken, you should just remain consistent. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight changes. This tablet is manufactured by Prasco Laboratories, and it is a generic for Allegra, it contains 180mgs of Fexofenadine. I usually take mine within a few minutes of getting up each day. Is there anything I can help with?

fexofenadine HCI 160mg/p pseudoephedrine HCI 120mg ## Can you cut an Allegra 12 hour extended release tablet in half? I took one the last 2 mornings and had trouble sleeping both nights. ## by cutting the 12 hr. in half would it lessen the nervousness side effect? ## No, it is not safe to cut, break or crush any time released medication, because it may cause you to get too much of the medication at once. You can learn more Fexofenadine details here and you can learn more Pseudoephedrine details here. If you are having trouble sleeping, it is most likely due to the Pseudoephedrine that's in Allegra-D, it can cause that and the nervousness in some people. Thus, you may be better off switching to the regular Allegra that doesn't contain it. Are there any questions or comments? ## H...

I have used Allegra D for many years when my allergies act up, but I have noticed that my body is not breaking down or digesting the tan side of the pill. To be exact the pill comes out just as it goes in (minus the white side). I have told my Dr. this but he has no idea why. When I use Allegra D it does seem to help the fluid build up in my ear, but I would like to know what part of the pill I am not getting and why? ## Hello, Stellie! How are you? You are getting all of the medication. That part of the tablet is time released, so the outside doesn't dissolve, after the medication is released, it is just expelled as waste. It's designed this way so the white part of the tablet releases immediately with a dose of the medications in order to get faster control of your symptoms, t...

im using allegra tablet for my allergy condition. some days before i had chest infection nd i went to a diffrent doctor . i told him im an allergy patient. along with the antibiotics for chest infection he prescribed ebast m tablets. i know ebast m tablets are also used for allergic conditions. i followed his medicine for 10 days. now ma chest infection is gone. but allergy is still there. can i continue my old medicine allergra 120? does using both the medicines which are meant for the same disease, one after the other cause any problems? ??! ## Hello, Tinku! How are you? It doesn't make much sense to take 2 medications to treat the same problem, in this case, especially if the one isn't working for you. It would probably be better to just go back to taking your Allegra, unless...

i purchased some allegra d from over seas they have come in foil packaging and are large round tablets yellow on one side and white on the other they say nothing on the pill but do say 120mg fexofenadine and 180mg psuedoephidrine sulfate usp i have not seen these ones before and got then because they are cheaper than most of the rest can you please tell me if they are the right ones or not ## With no markings on the tablets, I can't tell you anything about them, I'm sorry. This is one of the hazards of ordering from foreign sources that aren't FDA approved, they are not regulated like companies approved to sell in the U.S. and you have no way of knowing what you might receive. The only way to be certain would be to pay to have them lab tested. Is anyone familiar with these t...

I found a round white pill with 311 and "AV" on one side and a strange symbol on the other side. What is this? ## This tablet is Allegra (Fexofenadine 30 mg - NDC 0088-1113). It is an antihistamine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms, such as hay fever and urticaria. Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Citric Acid - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Mannitol - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidone K30 - Sodium Bicarbonate - Aspartame ## The pill you found was an Allegra ODT tablet. It is a round white pill that reads 311 AV & the otherside has a cursive/fancy letter E. Hope that helps! ## As of writing this I can't find any listings from the standard FDA search, but if it's an over the counter item, as cowbells stated, then that would explain why it isn't ...

Please do reply.

My allergies where terrible today. Really just a seasonal flare up. I took 2 tablets in hopes to be rid of my flare up or to at least have some relief. 3 hours later....my nose is RAW, I can barely open my eyes because of all the watering. My lips are chapped because of all the breathing through my mouth. ## Claritin contains the active ingredient Loratadine, which is an antihistamine, but just like any other drug, it doesn't work for everyone that takes it, which is why there are others on the market. Learn more Loratadine details here. Just as an example, I have tried it, but only found it to help with respiratory symptoms. However, I also get hives sometimes and found Allegra/Fexofenadine to help with both. Learn more Allegra details here. Has your doctor recommended anything for...

I am wondering if anyone has taken more than 180 mg of Allegra daily and lived to tell about it?! Just kidding about that last part. I have a particularly bad case of post nasal drip and I DO get some relief from the 180. However, I am considering trying half a tab (90 mg) at night to get more relief. I KNOW what the recommendation is...I am just wondering. Has anyone tried it? ## Actually, if you're currently taking that much and still have post-nasal drip, then it's most likely time to try something else, rather than more of the Allegra. What other allergy medications have you tried? There are others on the market, some are available over the counter and some by prescription. Have you talked to your doctor about it? What are you allergic to? ## When it comes to prescription me...

Can anyone identify a pink oval tablet with R 194 on it? ## Sorry, I can't find any tablets listed with this imprint. ## I am searching for this also. I was given this as a generic for allegra 180. I am trying to verify that it is a generic fexofenadine. Is that also your circumstance? ## Sorry, I am still searching, I can't find any tablets listed with this marking. In the US prescription drug database, the only thing I am showing with this marking is a capsule that is an antibiotic. The closest I can find is an over the counter allergy tablet with 194 on it, but it is not Allegra or the generic for it, it is Chlorpheniramine. ## Thanks for your efforts!!! Some of the most common side effects include GERD, photosensitivity and bowel upset. ## This is actually Fexofenadrine Hydochloride and is a cheaper version of 180mg Allegra. Used as a histamine blocker in allergy victims. Some side effects might be dizziness but is variable per person. Take with water either on an empty or full stomach - results are the same.
