For type 2 diabetes ? ## hi, because metphormin is a prescibed medication, i would think that you have to take as directed. but It was prescribed based on your historical blood sugar readings which fluctuate on an hourly basis kind of in relation to the glycimic index of the food you just ate and the amount of physical activity you are doing..eg....eating a donut sitting watching tv with 2 metphormin pills or eating a doughnut and running up 90 feet of stairs,and having taken 2 metphormin pills after an hour recheck you blood sugar levels or eating broccoli and taking 2 metphornin pills and running upstairs. the fact is that the dosage of metmophin lowers your resting (so to speak) sugar level but the other two have to be juggl...

It is commonly used to help control, and lower blood sugar levels. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, increased urination, headache, flatulence, and hypoglycemia. Dev, I am not aware of any that are intended to be dissolved orally. Is that the way you were told to take this medication?

Hi i ve been diagnosed with ammenorhea due to PCOS and m 24... my doc prescribed me krimson 35 along with Macfolate for 6 months buh I m putting on weight due to the same... can i take Metmorfin to help me reduce my weight issues and treat me for PCOS...
