Trying to find out if the Prasco Generic of Fluticasone Propionate/Salmeterold Xinafoate Dry Powder Inhaler (Name Brand is Advair), is gluten and corn free? My insurance won't pay for Advair. Viatris who bought out Mylan says they do not test for gluten in manufacturing process and they can't speak for outside ingredients so did not recommend using Viatris or Milan if you have celiac. ## From what I can see, the only inactive ingredient listed for this particular generic is "LACTOSE, UNSPECIFIED FORM". This is for Fluticasone Propionate And Salmeterol Diskus powder from Prasco Laboratories (NDC Codes 66993-584-97, 66993-585-97, 66993-586-97). I have about 8 of the sulfameth/trimeth that were left over. I've had a horrible sinus problem for years and my Dr wont give me antibiotics, only gives me Fluticasone. Looked up my nostril once that's it. Fluticasone is useless. Very thick mucus, smells bad. Green, yellow, even kinda gray. Maybe I need a specialist I don't know but I will try anything to get rid of this. I have to blow my nose so hard I'm afraid I'm gonna have a stroke Lol. Seriously though, I can't handle this anymore. ## I think it might be time for you to see an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist to try and get to the root of the problem. While discolored mucous does not always mean an infection is present, contrary to popular belief as documented by the NIH, sometimes it means your body is fi...

I have a URI and received a free sample of Dymista. The first time I used it, I sneezed 20 times in a row spread out over a minute. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried it again. Same reaction. Not only do i sneeze but i feel miserable and have to blow my nose for the next 5 minutes. Could I be allergic to this medication? I've never had this reaction from Flonase, which I know is fluticasone, one of the main ingredients of Dymista. Maybe it's the azelastine that triggered the reaction? Has anyone else reported this reaction? ## Yes, the sneezing and nose blowing due to excessive mucous have been reported by others that have tried it. It just might not be the right medication to help you, since your symptoms are so severe. You may also experience headache, change in taste a...

Have had shots and pills of Levofloxaci and prednisone with Guaiatussin cough surup. I feel better after taking but keeps coming back. I have been using Fluticasone Propionate nasal spray and allergy aller-technology everyday too. Is it time for a specialist? ## Yes, I think it is likely time for you to see an ENT. According to NIH reports, there is usually some underlying cause for such frequent repeated issues. How often do you take these medications? The Fluticasone is usually used twice a day, in severe cases. The Aller-tec, might not be the right medication to help you. You may need something stronger.
