Severe depression taking 4 mg of clonazepam with 60 mg of Cymbalta. Also, having had 5 spinal fusions (4 posterior, one anterior), taking 3 to 4 hydrocodone 500 7500 per day. I get very depressed and suicidal. Is this a bad combination? ## It sounds like it's a bad combination for you! Have you discussed it with your doctor? Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it's an SNRI antidepressant and the Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine and both of them can backfire, in some people, and have the opposite effect of what they are supposed to do. On top of that, you're adding the narcotic Hydrocodone, which can definitely have depressant effects.

I've been taking .25 of clonazepam for over ten years for Chronic neck pain. Recently I've come across bad batches or something changed in the medicine and have been getting withdrawal symptoms. My terrifying problem is that its work perfectly for my neck pain and now I need to not only worry about withdrawal but the chronic neck condition that I now can't get relief from. Please do yourself a favor and do not get on it. It is a horrible drug to be on. It dictates who you are as a person, makes you numb and you sleep your life away. It's January 2019 and I have been using TEVA Clonazepam 1mg for over 10yrs. I was taking most days 1.5 mg until recently. I had been tapering. Recently due to major anxiety (death in the family & several other factors) it was increased to 2mg sometimes 2.5mg. Since mid. November 2018. Actavis doesn't work on me. That's an entire month's worth of medication. I have been taking clonopin since 1982 for severe panic and anxiety. I take it as needed, but do try to offset panic attacks by taking 1, 1 mg tablet at night. If, and only IF I truly need another during the day, I try 1/2 or .5 mg. If you took 100, 2 mg tabs, it would put you in a coma or worse. My psych gives me the 1mg instead of the 2mg, because less I'd better. I have been taking 2 mg daily of Teva clonazepam for a few years. I have been noticing that my memory (both short and long term) is increasingly more affected by the drug. I recently received Teva clonazepam and it worked great. Two weeks ago, I received clonazepam from Accord Pharmaceuticals and it was like a placebo pill. So I've had displaced anxiety for 10 years...never took a thing...about 2 years ago it became unbearable. I've been on clonazepam .5 mg a day for about 10 years for panic attacks. My dr will not refill my rx because I take marijuana. So I was forced to stop cold turkey and am worried about withdrawal. I stopped taking 1 mg clonazepam one/day maybe five-six days ago because I have a back injury which has flared up and I had to take hydrocodone.... I also take zolpidem and lisinopril and levothyroxine regularly and was taking benedryl for allergies....
