What Is A Pill With 4008 On One Side And V The Other
47 Topics FoundI've been taking the form of lorazepam identified by a "v" on one side and "4008" on the other for years. Recently I switched pharmacies and they gave me a NOTICEABLY different version, manufactured by "Watson labs" ("Watson" on one side and "1/241" on the other). I might as well be taking placebos even though it's the same dosage. My doctor told me that manufacturers can vary in the make-up of the pill by almost 2% and still legally call it the same dosage/drug, so what I'm feeling (nothing) may really be due to the difference in manufacturer. I want to go to my new pharmacy & ask if they can fill my prescription with the pills from this other manufacturer, but I don't know who manufactures it. I suppose I can just bring one o...

TAB RX 775 ON THE TABLET, THE NEW ONES ARE LARGER THEN THE ONES I,M USED TO TAKING ARE THEY THE SAME OR AM I GETTING MORE ## Hello, Gerri! How are you? No, they just use different inactive ingredients, but both contain 1mg of Lorazepam. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY Filed under LorazepamIs lorazepam the same as xyanx ## Hello, Shorty! How are you? Lorazepam is the generic for Ativan, Alprazolam is the generic for Xanax. They are both benzodiazepines that are commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders, but they are different medications. The FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY Filed under LorazepamAnyone know what this is?? Was told it's ritalin, but have never seen this kind. ## Hi Alana, Based on my research, the pill you have is actually identified as a 0.5mg Lorazepam tablet manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. (Definitely not Ritalin). Ritalin contains the active ingredient Methylphenidate, which is used for ADHD and narcolepsy. Lorazepam on the other hand is a benzodiazepine class drug that treats anxiety. Hopefully that wasn't a friend who gave or sold that to you saying it's Ritalin or I would have a difficult time trusting them from this point forward. ## It's a 1 MG not .5
2 REPLIES Filed under MethylphenidateI've been taking 1mg of lorazepam and I get my refill at a different pharmacy that I've never used before. They give me a small, white pill with the number 4008 on one side and what appears to be a cursive V on the other. Is this Lorazepam? ## Hello, Dawn! How are you? Yes, this tablet does contain 1mg of Lorazepam, it's just made by a different company than the one you were taking. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with?
1 REPLY Filed under LorazepamI have been taking lorazepam 1mg for years, but my most recent refill the pills do not look the same and I can't find them online. They are larger than the old ones and has a large kind italic V on one side and 4008 on the other side. Anyone know anything about this? ## Hello, Dee! How are you? Yes, you have received the correct medication. It's just manufactured by a different company than the one you used to take. Is there anything else I can help with?
