I have read alot of reviews here and on other web sites, but all I can say about this drug is...Where have you been...I am taking 5m tabs 12 a day for 5 days and it decreases to 10 for 4 days and 8 for 3 until you're down to one tab. I am taking it for a lower back pain caused by 2 degenterive discs and bone chips. It help straighten me up and eliminated 90% of the pain. My concern is what happens when I have to stop....I love this medication, and it has also cleared my vision where I no longer need cheaters...It works for me ## I have been off and on drugs for Chronic Neuropathy for 13 years.Nothing helps the pain. Now they want to put me on Prednisone and I am afraid of it.Does anyone have any horror stories on Predisone?I need to know before I commit myself to this...Please!! what does prednisone look like
small white round pill with z 2907 on it ## There is no definitive way to say what Prednisone looks like, the way it looks can ary greatly by manufacturer, there are no guidelines saying that all pills containing a certain med have to look the same. They can vary in size, color, shape and imprint. The only guidelines for pills from the FDA says the imprints have to be unique for identification purposes. Even these differ from company to company and according to the dosage of the pill. Now, as to this pill, Z 2907 is Furosemide 40mgs. Pill Image It is a generic for the diuretic Lasix, this helps to increase the amount of uring a person passes to help the body lose water and salt to help treat high blood pressure. ## what does prednisolone look like ## how to take prednisone 10mg i dont u... ...

I felt dizzy,dr said i have excess fluid behind right ear. i was given prednisone. next morning, i cant walk, no balance. have to hold on to something to walk. talked to dr, she say this is normal. is it? ## Your doctor should have told you that you had vertigo and that prednisone can sometimes help. The side effects you were experiencing are created by vertigo, which can be quite nasty. Your equilibrium is messed up, you go one way and your body goes the other way. In Canada we have only one drug that is allowed in to treat vertigo and that is called Serc. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Doctors have started small doses of prednisone to counter act the vertigo. I don't know if the results are positive or not. ## Hi I was given prednisone 5mg tab and was not told about... ...

Is there a non-script replacement for Prednisone. This may sound really dumb, but we have a dog with big time alergies and the only thing that will help him is Prednisone. Problem is that the Vet wants to run $200 - $300 worth of blood test every month before they will renew the script. Needless to say, we really can't afford this. The dog is 14 years old and nothing else helps with the alergies. ## Prednisone is a corticosteroid and as such is available by prescription only, as are all the alternatives. ...

My husband died in our living room and I called 911. He was revived after they broke 3 ribs and had a major surgery and was hospitalized for weeks. When I panic I get short of breath. After Bill (husband) was taken to the hospital I had a panic attack and couldn't breathe. I called 911 and ended up in the hospital myself. At no time did anyone ask me about my history, what happened or anything. They just began giving me Prednisone. I had no idea what it was and took it. The take-down dose when I left the hospital was 20 mgms. three times a day for a certain period, then 10 mgms for another period and now I am down to 5 mgms per day and have been taking it for over a year. The hospital refuses to tell me what the dosage was when I was hospitalized but because of the 60 mgm daily take... ...

my mom is on predinosone and is having severe anxiety and insomnia. She is a totally different person. The docs have lowered her dose and tell us she will improve 4-6 weeks after it is lowered. Anyone else go through this and did it get better after that time? I need advice ## I, too, had insomnia after taking the Prednisone. Anxiety has increased tenfold. My husband is a love and he takes good care of me. He understands and sometimes when I get carried away he just smiles and says, Prednisone and I know the medication is causing the problem. I hope that things get better for your mom. Just try to remind her in a nice way that the Prednisone is causing her feelings and that she really is OK. Being patient with her will help more than anything I think and if she is receptive to the idea ... ...

Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that is particularly effective as an immunosuppressant drug. It is used to treat certain inflammatory diseases (such as moderate allergic reactions) and (at higher doses) some types of cancer, but has significant adverse effects. prednisone 20mg scared plz help
I was prescribed 20 mg of prednisone for an abnormal lump on my leg, i wasn't aware of any of the terrible side affects and took it the first day feeling quite moody and pretty much lost sense of time, when i went to bed my legs began to ache terribly and my heart wouldn't stop pounding. I didn't sleep much at all and when i did i experienced terrible and odd nightmares. I am supposed to take it for 5 days once a day, but i refuse to take anymore because i simply can't handle the side effects. I haven't taken my second dose... i feel okay since i haven't taken anymore but am afraid since i have read and heard how dangerous it is to suddenly stop taking a medication. Will only one days dosage affect me? Please help....... ## Hello, Mrs. Parsons! How are you doing?... ...

Prednisone 10mg
Can someone take 10 mg of Prednisone then just stop or do you have to taper off? ## Just one tablet likely won't require a taper, but it's also not going to help you much, since that won't give it a chance to have much of a therapeutic effect in the body. Learn more Prednisone details here. Did you suffer some odd side effects from it that is making you stop it? ## I have been to dr today. Have been taking Rulide fir4days. She changed it over cilex 500 mg 3 x a day. Also out me on prednisolone 25mg. I have only taken one tablet. I cannotsleep and jaw is clenshing. Been reading up on side effects. I am going to Bali in a few days. Dont want to risk picking up a stimach bug. But have a tight chest with coughing and sire throaght. What should i do?? I also take zelitrex 500mg d... ...
