You're really not going to find a doctor to just prescribe them and not worry about it. That's just not possible, anymore. They are held responsible for their prescribing practices, now. I Broke my arm on December 4th and was prescribed oxycodone. I only take it at night so I can sleep and deal with the pain during the day so I don't run out before the pain stops. I had a dr who was prescribing me 150 30mg roxycodone every month. He decided the past month that he no longer is writing them and is only writing subs. I cannot find a dr who will write me my script. Can anyone suggest anyone? ## Who was the doctor ## I'm sorry about the problem that you've run into. However, you're not going find a doctor to just write you your prescription, as a matter of fact, if you're contacting doctors to ask them about prescribing such a medication, they're all going to be inclined to tell you no and not even let you get in the door, because they consider that to be drug seeking behavior. Have you tried asking that doctor to refer you to a pain management specialist? ## i know plenty of drs in nj who prescribe oxycodone and other pain meds 2 ... ...

I know most VA hospitals have pain management programs, so you could try contacting them. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## VA will not prescribe opiates. having a hard time finding pain management doctors near San Fernando Valley. Please offer some suggestions for a "no-problem" Medicare accepting Dr. Thank you ## I'm sorry, but you're really not going to find a 'no problem' doctor, anymore. There are strict guidelines they must follow regarding the prescribing of any controlled substances, if they prescribe improperly, they risk losing their license to practice medicine. Do you currently have a general practitioner that you see regularly? If so, they might be the best person to consult to get a referral to a doctor that can help you. Does anyone else know of any good pain management doctors in that area? ...

And you may be creating part of the problem yourself, if you're calling new doctors and asking them to prescribe a specific medication. Most doctors will see that as being drug seeking behavior and won't even let you get in the door. tennessee doctors that prescribe oxycodone 30 mg to patients
I need to find another clinic in Tennessee that will continue prescribing the oxycodone 30 mg tablets 5x's day, I have been taking this medicine for the past year, can you help me find another clinic? ## Hello, Doliphn! How are you? What happened with your current clinic? Due to the new regulations and the reluctance of doctors to prescribe such medications, you would be better off staying where you are, if they are currently prescribing something that helps. When looking for another doctor, there is no database that I can refer to for you to see what they will or will not prescribe, or if they will even take you on as a patient. If you really need to seek a new clinic, then one good idea would be to ask your PCP to refer you to one, that may make it easier to find the help you need.... ...

Need to find a doc who will prescribe oxycodone 15's in Maine
Hi. I have been taking oxy 15's four times a day for the past five years. I have gone through two doctors, as the constant drug testing and pill counts have resulted in unfair dismissals from wonderful physicians who had no choice, as it was hospital policy. I am so tired of being treated like a drug seeker. I suffer from degenerative arthritis in my hips, bulging discs in lumbar spine, fibromyalgia, sacroiliac joint dysfunction as well as depression and panic disorder. I have not had any relief from pain in over 10 months. I have two young children and I can barely provide for their basic care and needs. It is so depressing and sad, when I can function normally if medicated appropriately. Someone please help me find a doctor or give me some advice. I cannot hold down a job or be ac... ...

Oxycodone/Michigan/Doctors?/Guidelines
I'm a cronic pain patient going on 10 Years. I have had multiple surgeries on my lower back. I have been prescribed Oxycodone 30mgs up to as many as #240 a month -As low as #90 a month depending on which Dr. I was seeing at the time. This has been extended over a 5 yr period. I do not misuse, sell, give or abuse my medication In any way. I work a very labor intensive job with heavy machinery daily and have found other drugs such as: fentynal duragesic patches, morphine, dilaudid, methadone and Opana to greatly reduce awareness and complicate an already complicated job due to side effects. Now, I'm on Morphine #120 mgs a day.. both immediate and long acting release.. and can't function due to drowsiness and a "head in the clouds " type of feeling. At work, I have notice... ...
