I was recently diagnosed with Adult ADD and have been prescribed Amphetamine Salts (Generic for Adderall) for a few months now. The initial dosage was one 10mg tablet/ three times a day and recently my Doctor upped the dosage to one 30mg tablet/ twice a day. I know that overall this has been very beneficial for me but I cant help but wonder if the generic brand (IR Amphetamine Salts) has less of the active ingredient, and more unnecessary side effects(irritability, fatigue). I know that while the active ingredients are likely to be the same, the "fillers" usually are not and even the active ingredients can vary up to 10%. Hi, I usually take 30mg of adderal per day, in the morning. I am making a switch to amphetamine salts. They are the blue tablets, and I was wondering if anyone knows how many I wouldn't have to take to get the same effect? 30mg dosent let me sleep at night but I need close to that many mg to get me through the day. I was diagnosed with ADHD and was prescribed Adderall (I believe the bottle was 10mg of amphetamine salts but I think it had a word that started with a d like Dextroamphetamine maybe?) Anyways, I tooke it more than a few times and it was SUCH A HELP you could tell the difference. So then I got my refill and was pretty happy. However, today is my first day taking the refill, and although it is the same 10mg dosage as before, I feel no effects.... I take the amphetamin salts combo tablet and on occation I have had problems getting this filled because of the shortage there seems to be with this particular medication. My question is why is it that sometimes I get a round pink tablet and other times I get an oval orange tablet? I don't think that the pink tabs work as well as the orange. I got the orange pill with E404. It's from Eon Labs (Sandoz) 30mg. I don't feel the effect as I would on the CorePharma. ## This pill is indeed Amphetamine Salts 30 mg (NDC 0185-0864).
