Having problems finding this product. Has it been discontinued and if so, do you know why? ## I AM HAVING PROBLEMS FINDING VISINE LR, DO YOU KNOW WHY. ## I have looked everywhere, no one has it. Has anyone found Visine L.R. or (Oxymetazoline HCI Eye Drops) which is the active ingredient in VIsine L.R. which makes it work SO well. I used Visine LR for over 20 years. Since its discontinuation, I've researched many eye drops and their ingredients. The only one that works amazingly, is Opcon-A! The oxymetazoline is absent but nephazoline is just as effective. My eyes are not red and lasts long periods. Thank goodness because I thought I would never find an alternative. ## I agree with Inna. I buy the Opcon-A from Amazon as an alternative to Visine LR. Been searching for Visine LR and cannot find it anywhere. HELP! Where can I find it? ## I found some on MedShopExpress but I heard this was not a reliable website. Are there other eye drops that use the same ingredients that Visine LR does? ## I just listed this in another post, the active ingredient Oxymetazoline can also be found in Claritin Allergy Relief Eye Drops and in Ocuclear. Do you have any other questions? ## Claritin ophthalmic solution contains as the active ingredient ketotifen ## I noticed that there are other allergy products on the market which contain the same key ingredient as Visine LR called Oxymetazoline. Opcon A eye drops work well for a short time. I haven't found any eye drops to replace Visine L.R. that have the lasting effects. I think they are selling Visine LR on the internet, but it is very expensive. It is the only gtts that work for me. Have been searching for it for two months.
